Chapitre 100: She Yearned For More Guidance

After exchanging a few kisses and hugs with Heisuke last night, Hisaki returned to her old man's apartment with a bashful look. So did he whose expression reminded someone of a cooked shrimp.

Even though Mrs. Saeki didn't ask them why they come so late, Hisaki had a hunch that her mother-in-law already guessed what had they been doing. Her lips were a bit swollen, thanks to a certain someone.

Hisaki had a good night of sleep next to Mrs. Saeki. The middle-aged lady brought out an unused futon and lay it next to hers. The entire room smelled of talcum powder, the scent that Hisaki remembered.

Leaving Heisuke to sleep alone in the living room, Hisaki got more opportunities to chat with Mrs. Saeki. Doing it reminded her of the moments she had with her mother-in-law in her previous life.

What touched Hisaki the most was Mrs. Saeki's earnest words before they finally went to sleep.
