Erastus was unexpectedly fishing by the pond!

Caroline thought that she had seen it wrong. She blinked a couple of times and she was still seeing the same thing.

The lighting in the yard was dim, but she was certain that it was Erastus who was sitting by the pond and fishing.

Eddison approached her from behind and wrapped her in an embrace. He asked in a low voice, "What are you looking at?"

"He's fishing over there." Caroline pointed towards Erastus's direction.

Eddison frowned slightly and said, "It's his hobby. You don't have to mind that."

"It's rare for a twelve-year-old kid to have fishing as his hobby!" Caroline exclaimed.

She couldn't help but to notice that she only heard Erastus greeting her from the night before and nothing else.

"Well, he's my brother after all, it's normal for him to be a little unique," Eddison said.

"How can you always find a way to praise yourself?" Caroline laughed.
