"Mommy?"

Ava's soft voice creased with an anxious expression called out her name, and Renna Amaryllis gave in to her command by averting her intent stare.

"Mm?"

Renna mumbled in a low voice as to encourage Ava to proceed with whatever she had wanted to say. Of course, as a mother Renna was there waiting for her to bombard the questions. 

"Mommy, will dad be looking for us by now? Does he know we are going to Hawaii?"

Ava became curious to know that whether Ronan Ross would be looking for her or not, her confusion and turmoil was visible from the twitching of the hem of her white floral frock. 

How much did he love her? How much was he willing to find her? Of course, she had seen the news of Ronan Ross taking some unnamed woman to the hospital in his car.

Or by any chance Ronan had forgotten about her?

Perhaps Ronan Ross had already turned the whole USA upside down to search for her daughter and wife.
