Chapitre 6: Thought 6-Choices, Consequences. Like a King.

Choices, in my life I have made many of them. Some were good, some were bad; never were they wrong. Many I have come to regret, the choices I have made have led me to great pain and suffering; but never once were they wrong. Regardless of what is good and what is evil, your choice is never wrong. Your choices should be made for you and that which you care about, and if you ended up getting one of those people hurt or killed because of your decision well... you may come to regret your decision. Your decisions are made in the moment, people may blame you for it, hate you for it, scorn you for it, and beat you for it, but not once were you wrong. You made a choice, and that choice led to consequences. Regardless of your choice you make, there will be consequences. You may just come to hate yourself for it, but you still weren't wrong. Out of all the possibilities, you chose this one. Within every one of us is the aura of a king, no matter how small. It is during the hardest times that men and women under pressure broke through their shell and picked up that crown, they made decisions that they may come to regret. The only difference between you and them, is that you have yet to pick up the crown; and you haven't felt the burden required. We all suffer in our own way, whether that be like a king who has many lives on his shoulder, or a beggar who is only trying to provide for one. The weight hangs down on all of us heavily, like a mountain. Yet through all of that, humanity found a way to rise. They banded to gather, clasp hands, and together their will ignited broke through their limits reaching the top of the food chain, kings on top of the mountain. Yet, we still feel the burden of our choices. We rose, but what did it cost? We broke through, but how many things did we have to? We became kings, but a king is no king without his people. We rise, we fall, we seek to know more about the world around us, while destroying it at the same time. I may regret my choices, but if those people of the past could see who we have become I wonder... would they feel proud of us or would they feel regret?
