Rin entered her house, eager to scold Sora for his actions. Artoria had informed her about his awakening, and she had been waiting for the school to be over for a long time.
She knew he wasn't at fault, as staying near Servants was dangerous. However, her rational side was having a war with her emotional part, causing her thinking process to become a mess.
The black-haired woman walked towards his location, which she could sense with their Master-Servant connection.
Yet, upon arriving, she just stood there in a daze.
Sitting before her was a giant helicopter, a heap of ammunition boxes laying beside it.
(Image.)
"Okay, I just have to focus." (Sora.)
She looked towards the sky blue-eyed boy, her senses feeling the Mana around him lessening.
Was he actively producing Prana from the Mana around while casting spells? How dangerous.
She tried to walk near him, intending to ask about the giant chopper in the garden, but stopped her movements upon noticing 'something' around him.
However, that feeling of seeing 'something' vanished quickly, leaving her with 'nothing' to get surprised by.
{Rule #1 of the Nothingness Element: No one save for the User can directly observe it.}
Afterward, she saw him lift a bullet as large as his hand up, throwing it into the air.
That same bullet suddenly appeared inside one of the ammunition boxes, seemingly teleporting.
Scolding him could wait for later; she needed an explanation for this... Thing.
She then noticed Artoria looking at Sora curiously. She was right in front of him, her hands occasionally poking his cheeks.
Rin decided to go near him. However, the boy's eyes opened, revealing two sky blue orbs inside.
He looked at her warmingly... Maybe, but it caused Rin to notice just how close she felt to him.
She felt her Master-Servant link strengthening even more from its already powerful state. This caused her great concern, but she somehow knew it was a normal condition.
In fact, she felt like she had found her lost 'piece,' to say the least.
As for Sora, he had shifted his focus onto the voice inside his head.
[The User has reached maximum synch with Subject 'Rin.']
[User should proceed with bodily fluid exchange, the preferred one being blood, to obtain a 'Soul Piece.' Subject Rin's Soul should be active for a transition without problems.]
He choked on the air.
...
After an interesting argument with the AI, Sora learned that if he proceeded to do what it had said, he would get a part of Rin's powers, and she would get a part of his.
It seemed like a good deal, considering Rin had fused with a Divine Spirit, but the consequences it would bring seemed too much of a nuisance.
He would only do it if there was no other option... Maybe. The possibility of recreating Divine Constructs shouldn't be underestimated, especially when he could do it without hassle.
He wondered why he couldn't just use Prana, though.
[User's control over Prana isn't enough to not cause damage, and Reason can't help the User with it.]
[Bodily fluids are a better option, as Reason can assist the User.]
After contemplating for a few seconds, Sora spoke.
"Will a kiss do?"
[Subject Rin's Soul should be active (full of emotions) for a smooth transition. With Reason's current knowledge, semen should make her Soul active enough for it to be painless.]
[However, if the User thinks it'll make Subject Rin's Soul active, exchanging saliva will also do.]
"Oh, it'll work, alright."
However, he wasn't the type of person to force himself on a girl just for more power.
Maybe if the opportunity arose, he would do it. And considering what he had felt when he was around her, it seemed possible.
Man, feeling the emotions of everyone nearby was tiring. He felt like a stalker, knowing every little bit about a person's mentality the moment he did as little as talk to them.
He really wanted to get to the bottom of this thing and discover what had caused it.
He suddenly felt weird but brushed it off.
Tomorrow they were going to find more about the bounded fields set around school, so he had to rest.
He closed his eyes, entering the world of dreams.
...
Sora woke up... Or did he?
Looking around himself, the young man noticed an old man with white hair looking down towards seven kids. two had black hair, one had red, two had silver, one was blonde, and the last one had sky blue.
"Today, you all are about to witness the beginning of life," the old man said, the black-haired kid appearing before him.
"Papa?"
"I'm sorry for this."
Before the kid could ask further, a white, ethereal blade found itself in his chest.
"Papa..."
He winced, blue cracks spreading throughout his body, releasing an ethereal glow.
Like a star.
He tried to scream, but blue energy coming out of his mouth blocked it.
He was throwing up Magical Energy.
But, even after all of this, the pain wasn't what he felt the most.
It was the feeling of betrayal and worry. As the oldest brother, he had to protect his little siblings.
They wouldn't be safe with this scum.
He suddenly moved, dashing towards the other kids.
He would die here, but provide a safe place for them afterward.
He didn't know what dying felt like, but it couldn't be that bad, right?
As a vortex in space appeared and sucked every kid, blue balloons appeared on his back, later popping only for 'wings' to burst through them.
He was in severe pain but also felt at peace.
He was going to be the only death here. Hell, the others might even take revenge on the bastard later.
As more balloons and therefore 'wings' appeared on his body, he lost consciousness.
The pain was gone, but was he truly dead? Only time would tell.
...
Sora opened his eyes, his head aching from the dream.
He knew that the kid was him, but when did those events happen?
He checked his memory for as far back as he could, but only saw a goddess repaying him for his 'help,' back when he wasn't emotionless.
'Woah.'
Before his mind could think of bad thoughts, he focused on 'his' emotions.
He wasn't emotionless back then? How interesting.
Even though the goddess was a sight to behold, that fact interested him more.
It seems he wasn't born emotionless, rather, he had probably turned cold because of the massacres he committed.
Getting his mind out of that amazing memory that he saved to the 'important stuff' folder in his mind, the boy got out of his bed.
Today, they were going to find the Servant that drew the bounded field around school, who would most likely be Caster, and kill him/her.
He also had to beat Shinji up, as the seaweed had dared to lust for his sister.
That was an unacceptable sin, especially for Shitji
…
After arriving at school earlier than expected, the Master-Servant duo (along with Artoria in spirit form) noticed a blue-haired man walking to them.
He could feel the disgusting emotions of the seaweed, causing him to get quite protective.
"Yo, Tohsaka."
Fucking bastard, Sora wanted to launch his ass to oblivion. However, he knew when and where to murder someone, and this place wasn't one with the ideal conditions.
"Hey, seaweed." (Rin.)
Seaweed looked visibly offended at that. However, the duo didn't care.
Artoria, who watched from just behind, had to stop herself from laughing upon seeing his face.
"Hey, I always wanted to ask this: Is your pubic hair also blue?" Sora placed a hand under his chin, looking deeply thoughtful.
Seeing his silence, he nodded. "Man, you took being blue-balled to the next level."
Sora patted his shoulder, ignoring seaweed's blue face. "Make sure to release your frustration every now and then, yeah?"
"Of course, you can also get penetrated. I'm not the one to judge others' kinks."
"However," he strengthened his grip, "find another girl to fuck."
Then, they left, making sure they had escaped the Servant that watched them.
Everything had a time, and fighting a legendary hero from the past definitely shouldn't be done in the morning.
...
At night, the trio could be seen standing before a red mark on a wall.
"So, that Shinji guy has Caster?" Artoria asked
"Probably." Sora placed a hand on the mark before channeling his Prana. As a user of the Nothingness Element, he should be able to destroy these magical sigils easily.
That guess was correct, as the sigil disappeared quickly, leaving nothing behind its wake.
"C'mon, let's destroy the other ones," he said, only to stop his feet about to take a step forward.
"My, my. If it isn't Tohsaka."
The duo looked at the seaweed that had appeared from within the doorway.
He had spoken in an arrogant and retarded tone. However, the purple-haired Servant behind him caused them to be alert.
Sora focused on the woman behind Shinji.
'Rider-class…'
He wanted to search for more information, but the sound of paper caused his body to jump back in reflex.
"Finally I will be able to kill your stupid brother and make you mi–!"
Shinji's mad voice was cut short with Artoria unsheathing her sword. Rider also got ready, but her movements seemed forced.
It didn't take a genius to figure out the reason. She was obviously forced to do her role.
Artoria got into a stance, just before Medusa did the same. Then, they dashed.
'Mana Burst!'
Leaving behind golden specks of light, Artoria slashed at Rider.
The result was unexpected.
Rider's left arm and shoulder were cleanly sliced off, the part landing right in front of Shinji before disappearing.
The chains in Rider's hand dropped to the ground, her eyes looking at Shinji.
Said boy was currently looking at the armless Rider.
"Fight, you damned thing!"
Bzzt!
"Mmnh!"
Biting her lips, the armless Servant tried to attack Saber, but, once again, the result was the same. Only, it was an arrow this time. An arrow embedded with the Nothingness Element.
It touched her heart, deleting it –and with it her– from existence.
Rider was eliminated.
