Chapitre 101: Unwelcomed Visitors

Mr Simon Aldrich sat in his armchair, a cigar clutched in his fingers. With a blank expression on his face, he stared at the wall in front of him. His gaze was blank but the council's thoughts absorbed his entire consciousness. He wondered what was going on in the other head's cabin behind closed doors.

Previously, all team meetings were held in the department. He could have gotten some information by instructing Felix to eavesdrop in, but everything was now out of his control. He and Condrad dismissed all of the cases in order to focus on them, but this proved ineffective.

As he sat there alone in the darkness with the only light coming from the fireplace which was also keeping him warm, he heard a few footsteps approaching near his room window. Even though the window was shut, he was still enthralled. He stood up and grabbed the weapon that was hung on one of the walls.
