Chapitre 136: Inside the box

"I wonder what Mr Wymare meant by delivering Derek," Evelyn thought out loud. 

They were back in the manor and were waiting for Derek. Lucas had said he would be delivered at the Manor. She was curious to know what he meant by the term deliver. 

"He is a crazy man, Miss Evelyn. Can do anything," Elric replied, taking a seat on the couch after pacing around the hall for a while. 

She sighed and asked him, "How do you know about him?" 

"I guess you are not aware who he is." Seeing her shake her head, he added, "He is the Duke of Tralavia Province."

She furrowed her brows at the revelation. "What is he doing here?" She asked. 

"I wonder that as well. If Mr Wilkin had called him for the mission, I would have known about that," Elric replied, trying to think what made the duke arrive here. 

"He has a devilish aura," Evelyn commented. 

"He is a Devil, Miss Evelyn," he replied. 

"Why would you say that?"
