"Do you have a boyfriend?", Mrs. Haylett asked. I almost choked on my food when she asked me that. I looked up at her laughing. "Of course I do", I replied smiling. Cody looked at me frightened."I have boys that are my friends, but  no one special", I said smiling. "Everywhere I go, I have a million different people hitting on me, but I'm still a lone", I said smiling. They looked at me smiling. "Maybe one day, you'll find that special someone?", Mr.Haylett asked"Yea, maybe one day", I said looking at Cody and smiling, "One more question", Mr. Haylett said. I looked at him waiting for the question. "Do you....know....God?", he asked. I turned my attention back to his parents, who had finished eating. "I um.....heard about him from people", I said. "So, you don't know anything about him", Mrs. Haylett asked confused. "All I know is that he took my father's life in your holy place of worship", I said angrily. They looked t me frightened. I felt when Cody touched my hand. "I'm sorry", I said looking down. "We're sorry about your father Emily", Mr. Haylett said. "Yea, me too", I said putting down the knife and fork. "I have to ask though, which o the two, is your mother?", Mr.Haylett asked. I swallowed hard before answering him. "The new one", I said putting some food in my mouth. Cody looked at me confused. "You're adopted?", Cody asked looking at me. I shook my head at him."But I thought......". "I just found out yesterday", I said  eating more food. "How did you take the news?", Cody asked ."I was confused and upset, that they hid such an important thing from me. My entire  life had been a lie. The siblings I thought were my blood...(Shaking my head in a negative way) turned not to be my siblings, but from what I've seen; my real fam; they're nice people", I said finally. They shook their heads at me understanding my situation. "Dessert anyone?", Mrs. Haylett asked
