Chapitre 14: Ch-14 "You're a werewolf, so am I."

Boom!

The wall of the wooden house shattered.

The impact of the shotgun blasted the werewolf right out of the house, its life or death unknown.

As a powerful melee weapon, the demolition effect of the shotgun was no joke.

Not to mention wood - even iron plates could be penetrated at such close range.

Ryan's eyes were cold, radiating a stern, murderous intent.

He reloaded the bullets and stepped out of the hole in the wall. At such close range, being hit four times in a row with a shotgun would make survival impossible, even for a werewolf.

Although there was a 90% chance that this werewolf was dead, Ryan was always cautious.

If he was going to kill, he had to make sure that the other party had no chance of survival.

He wouldn't feel comfortable until he was sure that the body was lifeless.

Outside the house.

The werewolf lay motionless on the ground, covered in blood.

Ryan slowly walked over to the werewolf, his pupils suddenly shrinking.

Though powerful, the werewolf was still mortal by nature.

Aside from an abnormal healing ability and physique, there was not much difference between him and humans in other aspects.

If he was shot, he'd be injured; if the injury was too severe, he'd die.

Ryan had already killed two werewolves.

When they had been shot, most of their bodies had been blown to pieces.

However, the werewolf in front of him had no serious penetrating wounds.

Countless steel bullets had sunk deep into his flesh and blood, but they had only seriously injured him. He was not at the point of death.

Swish!

The werewolf's eyes suddenly opened.

In the next second, the werewolf's body began to transform into a beast.

As the transformation process progressed, his blood-filled body began to heal at a rapid pace.

Balls of steel fell from his flesh and blood to the ground.

In a moment, new hair had grown all over the werewolf's body.

His human limbs also began to transform into those of a beast.

Hiss!

Ryan couldn't help but take a breath of cold air.

'Don't lie to me, is that a werewolf?'

He had never heard of a werewolf with such thick skin.

Even a shotgun was blocked. How terrifying is this muscle?

"You will fly to the sky."

Without hesitation, Ryan picked up the shotgun, pointed it at the werewolf's head, and fired two shots in quick succession.

Just like the villains who die because they talk too much.

He couldn't understand those TV dramas where villains could be defeated before they transformed, but the protagonists wasted time with them instead of striking when they had the upper hand.

They'd wait for the opponent to transform and kill most of their allies before finally defeating the villain in anger.

Is it because there are too many of them? Are they willing to sacrifice a few teammates to keep the villain entertained?

Lesson learned: Kill him while he's down.

Dead enemies make the best enemies.

With two shotgun shells down, Ryan didn't even take the time to reload.

He drew his revolver and fired six bullets into the werewolf's eye sockets.

At that moment, the werewolf, howling in pain, had completed the final stage of its transformation.

All traces of the werewolf's former form vanished, replaced by a giant gray wolf over ten feet tall.

Right now, the giant wolf's right eye was bleeding and half of his face was shattered by the shotgun blast.

The remaining left eye glared at him with a tyrannical and ferocious look.

The good news was that the guy was crippled.

The bad news was that being crippled didn't seem to reduce his combat effectiveness.

It just seemed to make the giant wolf even crazier.

"This is difficult." Ryan sighed.

Even a shotgun blast to the face couldn't kill this guy, so he couldn't afford to hold back.

Too bad he didn't have any grenades.

If he could put a few high-explosive rounds in this guy's mouth, even an iron stomach couldn't withstand that.

When he got back, He have to find a way to get a few crates of grenades. As he was thinking, the crazed giant wolf lunged at him.

"Ouch!"

Sharp teeth and claws rushed at him with a raging wind.

Ryan turned to avoid them.

A tree behind him, thick enough for two people to wrap their arms around, was ripped apart by the giant wolf's claws.

Strength, Speed, Burst, Defense and Recovery.

This guy's basic attributes were maxed out.

Watching the giant wolf slowly recover from his injuries, Ryan couldn't help but feel a headache.

Fighting with werewolves was like this: either you crush your opponent without giving them a chance to recover, or you get worn down bit by bit until you die.

If he were an ordinary person, he'd have no choice but to accept his fate.

What a pity!

"You're a werewolf, so am I."

Ryan's eyes grew fierce, his teeth clenched.

He imagined a full moon rising in his mind.

In an instant, the violent, bloodthirsty beast inside him surged out of his blood and into his brain.

"Ah!"

The muffled roar, like the arrival of a king, echoed far and wide.

The entire forest fell silent, even the chirping of insects and birds completely ceased.

Boom!

The giant wolf that had been charging was thrown back by the force, knocking down several large trees in a row.

Tramp!

Through the dust, an almost ten-foot tall werewolf covered in gray fur slowly walked out.

His strong body was like cast iron, his muscles radiating oppressive power.

The fur was as hard as steel needles, glistening, and its long, narrow animal pupils flashed scarlet.

Sharp fangs, sharp claws.

Except for his head, most of his body remained human.

But his whole being exuded a ferocity and savagery that was nothing like human - more like beast.

Ryan took a silver cross necklace from his pocket and wrapped it around his right hand.

If he was going to face a werewolf, he'd better use something that could hold it back.

Zila!

Where the necklace touched the back of his hand, it sizzled as if water had been poured on red-hot iron, making a harsh sound.

Ryan moved his body, ignoring the slight burning pain on his hand.

His werewolf bloodline was special, very different from an ordinary werewolf.

Therefore, ordinary silver products had no effect on him at all.

Even holy silver blessed with divine power could only make him feel slightly uncomfortable.

But that was all. Even holy silver couldn't really harm him.

However, it was a different story for ordinary werewolves.

Ordinary silver products could be deadly - holy silver even more so.

He looked at the werewolf in front of him, fully transformed and mindless.

A bloody aura slowly ignited on Ryan's body.

'Berserk Mode!'

The gray fur was stained with blood. The power he'd exhausted surged again.

Ryan grinned, his sharp fangs glinting bloodthirsty.

"Guess how long it will take me to kill you."
