Synopsis
Five years ago, Violet Don was framed and accused of causing the death of Noah Bates's child. This led to Noah's sending her to prison and the downfall of her family. What he didn't know was that Violet was also carrying his child.
Five years later, upon Violet's release, Noah corners her, demanding, "If you want your child, come and atone for your sins!"
Violet smiles, "You can let him call anyone mom."
Noah, filled with hatred, says, "After five years in prison, how can you still be so cruel!"

Being able to browse through the chapters during the free reading period allowed me to be pretty sure I've read this story before elsewhere but with different character names. The guy is so horrible that I never finished reading the story to find out if he's the ML. The amount suffering the FL faces in his hands makes me almost wish she just ends herself to be free from him and leave him in regret.
The first few main chapters were intriguing, but then everything went downhill. Put her in jail, there is a law here, but kidnap a child, then there is no law, you can even strangle her in public and nothing will happen to him, it's convenient. The genius child wants to bring his mother together with this sadist... and for this they still demand money, but here the reader has to pay extra
I kept crying through all the chapters I've read. It is heartbreaking how much suffering she was put through. and to lose her brother is even the cruelest. I would die from a heart attack. It is exhausting to read, but I just can't stop. I just want to know what he would do when he finds out the truth.
