Natalie is such a good kid! Evelyn turned her head and looked at Ava angrily.

"Tell me, what on earth happened?!"

Seeing Evelyn like this made Ava's heart grow cold. Grandma clearly already believed Natalie. If she believed her, why was she still asking Ava?

"Grandma, are you accusing me?" Ava looked at Evelyn with a calm gaze.

"Natalie got hurt at your house. As the lady of the house, is it wrong for me to ask you a few questions?"

Evelyn became even angrier at Ava's attitude. When did Ava become so rude?

"Putting aside whether Natalie's injury is my fault or not, you already seem convinced it was me. In that case, what's the point of my answer? Also, aren't you curious why Natalie came to my house in the first place?"

Evelyn's anger subsided a bit at Ava's words. She turned to Natalie with a stern face. "Natalie, tell me why you went to Ava's house today."
