"Die!" Seeing his awkward movements, a foe resembling his friend lunged at Kuga from behind seeing an opportunity, claws outstretched toward his vulnerable back.

"!?" Reacting a beat too late, Kuga sensed the imminent threat.

Luckily, someone had his back.

"Kuga! Duck!" Orimura's urgent cry got Kuga into swift action, trusting her without hesitation.
