Chapitre 43: The Child Left Crying

"For the second time in my life, I am feeling jealous of you, your majesty." Aiden did not hide his feelings as he looked at Leo with envy who ignored him like all the time.

"Since you have won, you can go and rest." That was it! Should he not praise her more even if it was for a show? She even made others envy him.

"Father, should you not hug me and congratulate me? Am I not awesome?" she asked as she blinked her eyes with a coquettish smile on her face when his eyes flickered and turned darker.

She was about to press him further for the past when she felt his body was turning cold and she flinched when he met hers.

Why in the world did she think that he would care for her or praise her. How could she forget that he was one of her killers too.

She let go of his thighs and jumped down from his laps. Her small legs were not able to balance herself when she stumbled and hurt herself with the corner of the chair.
