Chapitre 45: Meeting Again.

"Do you need more of that apple pie, princess? Or would you like to try strawberry tart?"  Renata closed her eyes with a look of meekness on her face.

She acted like she was hurt when her father did not give her any response to gain more favor from the maids.

She knew that she was already developing a soft corner in their heart. If it continued, she would not need to worry about food or other things.

"Thank you!" she replied while lowering her head when she noticed how they all looked worried with the corner of her eyes.

A tinge of guilt filled her for betraying them but she assured herself that she did not have any bad intentions. 

As a princess, it was her right to have a good meal. If she needed to act meek and adorable for that, then let it be.

She did not lie to them. It were them who assumed that she was hurt.
