Chapitre 344: Completely Flabbergasted

I sat in the bath completely flabbergasted with myself for even uttering some as stupid that I would possibly cheat on Demyan if he focused on his child too much. Was I an idiot? Actually I knew I was an idiot because that made me sound like the biggest jerk on the planet for even suggesting something so outrageous. 

How would I want to compete with a child for Demyan's affection? It was a flipping child, an innocent and I was a grown man to know it was not easy to separate yourself from one. I had worried so much that when Pa got remarried he would start ignoring me for his new family. 

He never did, he still made me his number one that I never felt a void with him having a new husband. When he and Dad had Luca and Stefano they still made me feel like I was their number one priority even when our family was growing faster than I could process.
