Chapitre 44: Chapter 44: My Next Move

I escorted Nero to the exit, holding myself rigid as my brother left so I wouldn't hug him and refuse to let him leave. I watched him depart, with a wave over his shoulder and an uncharacteristic smile for me that made me beam back at him.

Sure, he brought bad news and more to worry about but until he was out of sight and safely on his way I couldn't bring myself to feel anything but joy I had fully reconnected with Nero again.

So maybe being Chaos was worth it after all.
