Chapitre 4: in empty classroom
During lunch break I text salina to meet me in an empty classroom. I was waiting and listening to music out loud from my phone then Salina showed up.
Hi give me a minute I said while pausing playing music on my phone.
I called you here because I wanted to give you something.
here! She said with a shocked expression.
I gate up from my seat and go closer to Salina She closes her eyes pressing her lips down figdding I slowly placed a hairpin into her hairs.

She touched it and said

Yeah, on my way back home I saw it on a lady's hair and I just thought it would suit you much better so I bought it as a gift for you as a memory of our first date.

I hurriedly moved towards the library after salina left the empty classroom to get some books to read on chess. As I enter the library i start to find the book named " Bobby Fischer teaches chess by Bobby Fischer " in shelves. I do know how to play chess but I have to fine-tune my chess skills. As I found and took the book I moved towards the table to sit and read it. As I was searching for a vacant place to sit I noticed my junior shruti. Seating in the corner and reading the Book. I just go closer to her and sit next to her. I gently tap on her book to get attention. I passed the note to her saying " hi ".
She asked me why I'm not taking in sigh language in sigh language then immediately the librarian teacher said
Don't talk in any language especially Rahul.
I passed another note saying "for this"
She passed a note saying " what are you doing here senior? "
I showed the book in my hand and she nodded in agreement that she get what I'm trying to say.
I took out some candy from my pocket and offered it to her.
She takes one candy.
Someone tapped on the table and we slowly glanced over I met eyes with librarians. She mouths " get out " furiously that I get up and pull Shruti with me out of the library.
I'm sorry I pulled you out like this I said leaving her hand in sign language.
It's okay but that was funny she signed.
We were laughing at that. A sudden thought came to my mind and I asked Shruti.

I tried once but it was too difficult so I dropped it by midway.

Then we were walking down the hallway silently it's not awkward but pleasant.
Can I have your phone number your I asked. Shruti stoped walking like she was freezing at that place. I think I asked her for too much.
Suddenly Shruti took out her phone and handed me

I dial my number on her phone but didn't make a call then handed her phone to her.
Oh! I forgot to get a book I need to go back to the library, bye I signed and once more handed her candy to light up the mood. I don't want to cause any more misunderstandings so I leave towards the library.
And once again I enter the library i get the book I wanted and then I start to find another book. I looked over but I couldn't find the book so I went towards the librarian to ask if they had it or not.
Miss I really sorry for what I did but I am serious this time. I really need this book can you please tell me if this book we have or not. I said

We don't have books on personal development Rahul. It's a college library not an open library that has every kind of book you have to buy it or go to an open library in town.

As college ends I don't leave the classroom. I just don't want to wait again There were chances of running into Shruti. So I was just waiting for salina's text or call.
Chit chatting, making jokes or plans to go somewhere after college, talking about projects and studying everyone leaves the classroom I just see them leave the classroom. I guess I take a nap thinking that I lean on my desk and close my eyes.
