In the southwestern border area of the Blood Mist Forest, a gloomy-faced Blood Lord hovered in the blood-red sky, his gaze scanning the northern horizon with resentment.

His appearance was almost human, except for a pair of soft fox ears on his head and a fluffy blood-red tail hanging from his tailbone, which stood out conspicuously. His name was Florens, a centurion under the command of the Blood Night General Draculas, a level 65 Blood Lord.

His expression of resentment clearly stemmed from his dissatisfaction with Draculas' arrangement. Instead of feasting on the succulent flesh of the elven race on the battlefield, he was sent to this godforsaken place to assist a waste named Hadrian in killing a level 40 human reptilian! It was an insult to his status! And as for that Hadrian fellow, how did such a waste become a Blood Lord? A mere level 40 human reptilian, couldn't he be slapped to death with a single blow?
