Chapitre 7: Dōjutsu

He came back from the land dreams with a groan of anger.
A memory of a dream teased him at the precipice of his wakefulness.
The stench of his surroundings made him gag and refocus on the now, his now potent senses making his surroundings even more unappealing.
"Up you go, Naruto." He said aloud, allowing himself a moment to familiarize himself with his body name.
As an assassin, he had long ago let go of any moniker and let his actions, namely his blade, determine his calling.
How often will he be knocked unconscious? He could already count three more than he had accumulated throughout his last life.
He stood up, knocking his hand against his head, clearing the water logged in his ears. He blinked, looked around, and closed his eyes before opening them again.
Everything was different.
"What is going on here?" He said in wonder.
It didn't take long before he figured it out. The injection had worked.
"It worked!" He exclaimed.
"Shut the fuck demon piece of shit."
Narrow focused on the gaunt figure and shook his head. He'll remember him when he gets out. He punched the air but wheezed soon afterward.
He grinned, exhausted, but he smiled at his achievement. He had leaped a hurdle most protagonists took a hundred chapters into a book to achieve.
"Status," murmured the former assassin under his breath, not to alarm his jail mates.
He would soon realize that the innate trickster spirit hadn't been snuffed away but covered up, but now that their combined soul saw a potential to improve, it began to surface.

Hastening the purview of his status, he landed on his out-of-the-box plan that surprised the now red-headed Jinchūriki.
There it was; he had the Uchiha Sharingan, which explained his night vision, but he continued.
He had Rinnegan, checking his reflection and smartly sending chakra to his eyes, which shifted them into One-Tomoe Sharingan before turning into Rinnegan, purple with a single dot surrounded by six rings in the middle.
He looked around and noted the minute difference between the two Dōjutsu. He had a feeling maybe it was redundant, but he hadn't recalled Nagato Uzumaki being able to revert Madara Uchiha's eyes to their Sharingan or utilizing Mangekyou.
He confirmed he didn't have Mangekyou, which was evident from the description of the Sharingan.

"Eye of Insight"
You can see chakra, giving it color to distinguish it by its composition and source. Though not as capable in this regard as the Byakugan, it can see chakra through some (but not all) obstructions and detect irregularities in a person's chakra flow, such as those caused by Genjutsu influence.
"Eye of Hypnotism"
You can perform what is generically called Genjutsu: Sharingan. While there are various manifestations and purposes of the ability, the better known one is to, through eye contact, suggest thoughts and actions to a target, coercing them to divulge information or act in a particular way, potentially without the target's awareness. In extreme cases, the Sharingan user can take complete control of the target's body, forcing them to do exactly as the controller wishes; this control is visually indicated by the Sharingan's design appearing in the target's eye.

The Uchiha are infamous for using this ability on the tailed beasts, and in fact, can enter its or a jinchūriki's subconscious to control the beast's chakra more precisely.
Once the host advances his ocular powers, Multiple targets can be taken control of in this way, though the more divided the user's attention is, the easier it is for targets to escape this control.
He had recalled specific skills attributed to each tomoe. So, one gains advanced eyesight, likely in detail, high-speed movement, and perhaps even enhanced colors.
Much like cats can see the slightest movement because, unlike dogs who are color blind, cats can see the full-color spectrum. In the Uchiha case, they could perceive chakras.
However, the second tomoe picks up the high-speed movement, registers it, and allows the illusion of coping with the jutsu. In reality, the Uchiha perceives your hand movements as long as they are within your range of physical capability.
The third tomoe is complete mastery, reducing chakra drain to the bare minimum.
More precisely, reading chakra flow and reading and copying hand signs, lips, and muscle movement to predict the bigger idea behind them while copying in real time or even beating the original user to the literal and metaphorical punch.
The final stage was the Mangekyo, which he did not bother to ponder as he had presented more critical matters.
The ability to push to Rinnegan without Mangekyo was off-putting, but he had no room to complain about it; what he had were aces that nobody who knew him would expect.
He wondered how Madara Uchiha would feel knowing a prominent offspring of the three clans existed.
He pushed more chakra into his eyes, and the Rinnegan took shape, replacing the striking red eyes that looked devilishly sinister with his bloody hair.
