Chapitre 6: Chapter 6 - Field Trip
"Bye, take care of you!"
"Yes dad I'll be fine!" Amanda replied as she
ran to the school bus.
When she got there, she went at the back as her classmates were queuing the line.
Their teacher were checking them while getting in the school bus, and its Amanda's turn.
"Amanda Gray?" said the teacher holding her lists of students included in the fieldtrip.
"Yes!" Amanda nodded.
"Ok, come on in!" Said the teacher.
They were having fun riding the bus, the young students were joking so it was noisy inside the bus. The bus is heading at the snow skiing theme park.
"Hey be quiet!" Said a teacher as she shush them.
Amanda is sitting and watching the view in the bus window. She is excited to do the snow ski.
Next to her was her male classmate Robbie, he was a year older than her and he was tall, his body is quite chubby.
"Amanda, I want to do something different when we get there," whispered Robbie to her.
"Really? What is it?" she asked.
"I want to ride in a cable car, do you want to come?" Robbie mumbled,
"Oh no, I think you can't ride there without an adult companion, we have to ask our teacher," Amanda said.
"But even if we ask them they will not come with us, because its not part in our trip, we will only go skiing and its not enough for me," Robbie said.
"So we can't ride there," Amanda said.
"But I want to do it," Robbie replied.
Amanda just smiled at him.
When they got there everyone was excited when they were all on the skiing field, they were wearing skiing gadgets.
Three teachers and 2 volunteers were surrounded by them to look after them.
"You only have 2 hours to play snow ski and after that we will go to the hotel to check in, Okay? Are you ready?!" Their teacher Mrs. Bates cheerfully said.
"Yes we are!" they replied at the same time with a big smile on their faces. They all stated to go skiing. And while everybody wass happily doing it, Robbie was dreaming of riding a cable car, he was always looking at the passing cable cars above, he approached Amanda, who was enjoying skiing with her fellow classmates.
"Amanda, come with me!" he told her.
"Where are we going?"
"As I told tou, I wanna ride there!" Robbie pointed to the cable cars passing by the height of the skiing field.
"No I can't, they won't allow us, I think we need to ask Mrs. Bates," Amanda replied.
"No no! She will never come to us, just the two of us is more fun, come on!" Robbie insisted.
"But how?"
"Just come with me!" he smiled.
The two paused while the teachers were not looking at them.
While everyone was busy skiing, their classmates didn't even notice that they were going out of the skiing field.
They removed their ski board and they went to the locker where they left their bags.
They will leave the ski board here temporarily.
Amanda opened the locker and took out her back pack.
"Amanda you don't need to bring that," Robbie chuckled.
"I just want to carry this, just in case we were lost haha," Amanda laughed as she carried her back pack.
"Hahaha, well ok then, let's go!" Robbie smiled.
They walked, they were looking for where to board the cable car. "I think it cost to ride there," Amanda said.
"I will treat you," Robbie replied as he smiled at her.
"Really, that's nice, thank you," Amanda smiled at him.
They walk and been through it, until they got in the entrance of the booth to cable car.
"We want to ride there," Robbie said.
The man who was in charge look at them and he noticed that they were minor.
"Where are your parents?" He asked them.
"They're not here, were on the field trip with our teachers," Robbie replied.
"You can't ride here with adult companion," the in-charge said. Robbie felt dissapointed.
"But we want to ride ther, I will pay," Robbie insisted.
"You really want to ride?" He asked them.
"Yes!" Robbie replied, hoping that the in-charge will let them in.
"You have to ask yourbteacher first, so she can come with yoy," the person in-charge said.
They looked at each other eyes.
"What we going to do?" Amanda asked him.
"Well, let's go, let's do another thing," Robbie said as he dragged her out from the cable car booth.
They walked and walked.
"Where are we going? Let's get back to the skiing field," Amanda said feeling annoyed.
"No, its not fun there, I want something new," Robbie said as he smirked. Amanda just shook her head and she went with him.
And while they were walking, they saw a big gate with railing and something was written on it.
"CAUTION! RESTRICTED AREA!"
Next to it was a small building with glass windows, and there was a man watching tv and shouting as if it was watching a sports.
"Yeah kick that ball kick hu yeahh!!" the man shouted with excitement on his face,
He did not notice that the two were at the gate.
"What are we doing here? I think we need to go back there," Amanda said.
"No, I think this is gonna be cool," Robbie smiled as he saw a snow jets ski beside the small building.
"What do you mean?" Amanda scoffed.
"Hey Amanda, look!" Robbie excalimed as he pointed out the jet ski. "But its forbidden," Amanda mumbled.
"I just want to try," Robbie chuckled as he walk towards it,
Amanda can't help bit to follow him.
They approached the jet ski.
"This is so cool whoah!" Robbie said as his eyes was widened in excitement.
"Yeah that's cool but we need to go back there, our teacher were looking for us," Amanda said, feeling worried.
"We will go back there later, I want to try this first, forget the cable car, this is much better!" Robbie chuckled.
"But there's a guard?" Amanda mumbled.
Robbie peeked in the window, and he saw the guard was busy watching tv.
"He is busy, he will never know it, we will do it quick!" Robbie said with s much excitement on his face.
"Robbie, do you know how to drive that thing?"
"Maybe I can, ..... look at this, its just like a bump car like in Disneyland!" Robbie said with so much fun on his face,
Amanda looked at the ski jet and saw that it was easy to operate, just like the bump car they were riding in the theme parks.
