A distorted voice then finally rang out in the room with a hint of amusement. "I see no problem with it. The strongest will survive, and that is me." Nyxara's voice, still unsettlingly eerie, reverberated through the chamber.

"You can just accept such a thing?" Torvald asked, glaring at Nyxara with open disdain.

Nyxara ignored him, its misty form drifting away as it looked elsewhere. Torvald, frustrated, turned his attention to Hiroshi. "Are you also accepting this?"

Hiroshi opened his eyes, a calm resolve evident in his gaze. "Do I accept it? No. Do I accept an order from above? Yes."

Luminael and Aerandir were both surprised at Hiroshi's response, their eyes widening in reaction. Luminael opened his mouth to speak, but Hiroshi's voice cut him off before he could articulate his thoughts.

"While I hate this, even I know that I have no choice. I don't have the power or the support to challenge this."
