'Hehe, man, I love cheating so much. After all, there's a reason this novel had the word "cheat" in its title.'
The letter itself was nothing special. It was written by the original owner of the house, the wise man Zenovis, who created all these weapons.
Since Zenovis had no remaining family members or children, he decided that whoever found the house would gain ownership of it along with everything inside.
'Hmm, well, all of this should have belonged to the original protagonist, but now it's mine. Rest easy, Zenovis.
