Chapitre 118: Returning.
A/N : I actually messed up something. The one on one battle that is going to happen will occur in Heaven Dou Empire not in Spirit City.

Tang Ming and Zhao Wuji continued to watch over Tai Long as he absorbed his fourth spirit ring.
Tang Ming also deployed his Divine Sense so as not to get sneak attacked or ambushed by anyone else.
The thing he found interesting was that even though he was just using his Divine Sense to look around, it was somehow getting stronger slowly.
His Divine Sense skill was made on the base of [Observation Haki], so he can see anyone in his Divine Sense perception range as well as sense any negative emotions directed toward them.
Seeing his Divine Sense becoming ever so slowly strong just by using it, Tang Ming decided he would dedicate some of his time training his Divine Sense, maybe he could find something interesting to do with it. (Like mental attacks, psychokinesis etc.)
Even Zhao Wuji was looking alertly all around. He didn't want to risk Tai Long safety, after he already had an encounter with Titan Giant Ape last time he visited here with these brats.
"Urgh..!"
Suddenly Tai Long who was absorbing the spirit ring grunted in pain, as his martial spirit Vigorous Orangutan suddenly appeared behind him and roared before disappearing back in his body.
Both Tang Ming and Zhao Wuji immediately looked over, the latter with some concern visible in his eyes.
"Don't worry, teacher Zhao. It seems Tai Long is really lucky."
It seems as if Zhao Wuji wanted to say something but refrained as he continued observing the change in Tai Long.
Tai Long at this moment was feeling a lot of pain, the evolving of martial spirit not as simple as it looks. Martial spirit can also be somewhat called an embodiment of a person's soul and an evolution in the soul also comes with excruciating pain.
In Tai Long's consciousness he can see the already Vigorous Orangutan slowly changing. It's size enlarging to over 4m tall and the fur changing from orangish brown to deep black colour. All the muscles in its body bulging, looking as hard as rock containing earth shattering strength.
Some kind of bluish veins also began to be visible going from its forearm to the palm and from thighs to its legs, brimming with thunder attributed energy.
While a considerable change can also be seen on Tai Long's body as it become more sturdy his muscle first increasing than compacting, looking not buff but not lean too. While his hair also changed from brown to black and also elongated to his shoulder. His face also sharpened quite a bit giving him a heroic and warrior like demeanor.
After what seems to be about half an hour, things started to calm down. Tai Long's expression also eased down as he breathed evenly without showing any kind of discomfort or pain.
Zhao Wuji let out a breath of relief seeing this and continued to watch out for anything unexpected while Tang Ming looked at Tai Long with a beaming smile on his face. He didn't know what this dumb orangutan martial spirit evolve into but looking at this big of change, it must've been quite shocking.
Tai Long slowly opened his eyes as he breathed out. His eyes beaming with joy, as he knew how much he had gained this time. The increase in his strength overwhelming to say the least, he felt he can even defeat ten of previous him very easily right now.
"Teacher Zhao, I've absorbed the spirit ring!"
Tai Long shouted with glee.
"Hahaha, good good. Now our Shrek has an extra Spirit Ancestor in the team. What is the ability of your fourth spirit ring, tell me brat?"
Zhao Wuji also looked happy as he laughed and patted Tai Long's back as the latter smiled sheepishly.
Tang Ming also looke at Tai Long and said smilingly, "Tai Long, also has your martial spirit evolved?"
"Haha, Yes! My Vajra Orangutan evolved into Vajra Storm Ape. It gained the thunder and lightning attribute, increasing my arms and legs attack power tremendously. Also my fourth spirit ring ability is called Vajra Storm Body which increases my strength, defense and agility by 100%."
Zhao Wuji and Tang Ming both became surprised after hearing Tai Long.
Tai Long also immediately summoned his martial spirit, Vajra Storm Ape, as an imposing 4m tall black ape with muscles hard as rock and lightning veins all around it's forearm and legs appeared behind him. His spirit ring also started rising from his feet in order. Yellow, yellow, purple, purple with last being very deep.
He immediately used his fourth spirit ring as the ape behind him immediately became superimposed with his body. His body growing from 1.8 m to 2.5m tall with muscles all over his body screaming power. His arms and legs also gained those bluish lightning colored veins making him look imposing.
Tang Ming can gauze Tai Long strength and it was no less than Dai Mubai. Even though the Vajra Orangutan was also a high rank martial spirit it would never gave this much increment, but after evolving into Vajra Storm Ape, a martial spirit which can contend for strongest beast spirit together with White Tiger and Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon, it was able to do so easily.
Zhao Wuji also looked shocked seeing Tai Long transformation.
"Brat, how long can you maintain this spirit ability?"
"Even though it give me tremendous power, it also drains the spirit energy quite fast. For now I can maintain it for around five minutes. Also I've already became 42nd-stage Spirit Ancestor."
Tai Long continued with grin so wide he can't hide.
Zhao Wuji then looked at Tang Ming who was just standing there smiling.
"Seriously, how did you get that kind of immortal elixir brat? Even I'm envious."
"Hahaha, what are you envious of teacher Zhao, you're already a Spirit Douluo."
After asking a few more questions thebthree of them immediately started heading back while when encountering any thousand year old beast, they would let Tai Long fight it to adapt himself to his new found strength.
Tang Ming can easily see that none of the thousand years old spirit beast pose any kind of threat to Tai Long and he can even best some of them after struggling for half an hour or so.
After another day of rushing back they finally reached the outskirts of Star Dou Forest where they rested for some time before once again heading back toward the Shrek Academy.

When Tang Ming returned with Zhao Wuji and Tai Long after four days from Star Dou Forest, he saw the Shrek Seven Devils and the teachers also returning from somewhere.
The others when saw them returning immediately rushed over towards them.
(A/N : Please forget the talk about him leaving for somedays as it was my mistake and correcting it is such a chore.)
"Hehe, you are already back Ming'ge?"
Xiao Wu said as she hugged him like a koala.
"Xiao Wu, how many times have i already said to not bear hug me like this. We're not children anymore. You can't do it."
Tang Ming said with some frustration visible in his eyes. Even though he regarded her as his sister, he was also a person in his teenage years with harmones raging in. It was through sheer will and discipline that he didn't have any change in expression getting so close with Xiao Wu.
"Tehee! So What?!" Xiao Wu said as she looked up and met his eyes but immediately blushed as both of their faces were too close too each other.
Tang Ming sighed as she held her waist before letting her down. No one else felt anything weird because it has always been like this since they met the three 'brothers and sister'.
Zhu Zhuqing also arrived at his side as he immediately held her hand, not shying away. Zhu Zhuqing blushed seeing his action but didn't back down.
"Ahem! Yep, we're back already because we had already acquired Tai Long's fourth spirit ring."
Tai Long who at this time was at the back came forward with a grin as everyone only noticed the difference in him. Everyone was surprised to so much change in Tai Long in just a span of four days.
"Holy shit! How did this dumb orangutan became like an ape? He even looked a little handsome now! Wow!"
Xiao Wu shouted in surprise as she immediately skidded toward Tai Long before poking his body everywhere. Oscar and Ma Hongjun nearly had stars in their eyes as they looked at the pure muscles in Tai Long's body.
Tai Long immediately blushed hearing Xiao Wu calling him handsome and rubbed the back of his head with a silky smile.
"What happened to Tai Long big brother?" Tang San also asked curiously. He already had some speculations but he remained silent, waiting for an explanation.
Dai Mubai and everyone else also looked at him hoping for an answer.
"Haha, it's nothing bad. His martial spirit just evolved."
Tang Ming said in a calm voice.
Their eyes immediately became wide in surprise as it is no trivial matter.

"Yep. I reckon his strength is now no inferior to Dai Mubai when using all of his strength." Tang Ming again dropped a bomb.
Dai Mubai was shocked but then smiled immediately as he looked at Tai Long and said.
"It's good. We now have an extra Spirit Ancestor in our team now. Our winning chance just skyrocketed."
He was genuinely happy about Tai Long becoming stronger.
The Oscar and Ma Hongjun immediately bombarded Tai Long with their questions as even Xiao Wu joined them in.
"Tai Long, what's your fourth spirit ring ability?" At this time Ning Ringrong suddenly asked.
"Um, it lets me increase my strength, defense and agility by 100%!"
Tai Long replied which earned another round of surprised gasps.
"You know what, I think we can now defeat Ms Er Long with ease now."
Fatty hearing what Tai Long ability is, boasted loudly as he patted Tai Long's shoulder, only to feel a cold shiver down his spine the next second.
There she was, Liu Erlong, in all her glory and beauty glaring menacingly at Ma Hongjun who sensing her gaze immediately hid behind Tang Ming.
Everyone else also immediately shrinked down seeing Ms Erlong as they had just came back from sparring with her.
"What did you say, you fatty?!" She said in an extremely low voice that sent chills down on everyone's back.
Fatty immediately crooked his neck as he hurriedly said, " I was just cheering everyone up after we faced a hard battle against you. I was just joking, i swear..."
But he immediately stopped seeing Liu Erlong releasing her martial spirit.
"Captain! Save me. I swear I'll listen to your every order. Please save me."
Tang Ming laughed heartily seeing this. But immediately caught a fist heading toward his face as he looked at Liu Erlong with a smirk, while the latter looked at him in shock.
"Miss Er Long, let him go this time, please." Tang Ming immediately covered his smirk with a polite smile as he knew this women is quite hard headed.
"You...! Hmph! I'll let the fatty go this time but only on one condition. You and me, alone in the forest right now."
"Okay!" Tang Ming immediately agreed.
Everyone was immediately excited but a single glare from both Liu Er Long and Tang Ming made them realise they won't be able to witness a good fight.
Master at this time also gave Tang Ming an apologetic look as he knew he can't handle Liu Erlong. Tang Ming seeing this shrugged.
"Don't worry, master. It'll be okay."
Tang Ming assured Grandmaster who didn't really who was stronger in between the two.
After saying goodbyes to everyone and kissing Zhu Zhuqing's forehead, he left toward the forest where Liu Erlong headed to.
