Silence surrounded them, only his breathing echoed in her ears.
"Could you make way?" a woman's voice came from behind them, obviously a resident of this floor.
Cherish Turner felt embarrassed and hurriedly pushed him away. His arms slightly tightened before letting go. She shyly turned back to see the woman's impatient expression and quickly apologized. William Griffith remained silent, coldly glanced at the woman, and then leisurely walked out of the elevator.
The woman, frightened by his gaze, lowered her head and hurriedly pressed the elevator button.
As the elevator doors slowly closed, Cherish regretted turning her head and wanted to speak up, but he turned away, silently walking toward the apartment. She grew frustrated, looking at his tall figure and couldn't find the words to complain. In the end, she only sighed softly, saying, "I'm going to throw out the trash."
