Chapitre 43: 5.16: The Way of The Voice

Uthgerd beheaded the beast, and handed the decapitated head of the beast to Darius, he took it from her hands and stored it in the inventory.

They continued their journey up the mountain. Their only enemy now was the extreme cold weather. Even being a Nord wasn't enough to climb here, especially for the two lasses, as their armor was much lighter than his.

Soon, they reached the Temple. The chest was outside, in front of the large black temple, so they stored the items Klimmek gave them there, and moved inside.

Darius pushed the left leaf of the heavy door open and entered. What greeted them was a man wearing a grey robe, its hood covering his upper face.

"Hello there," Darius said as casually as possible.

The old gave him a skeptical look, "So you are the Dragonborn?" He asked with the same tone of skepticism he showed on his face.

Uthgerd hearing the word was the most confused in the group, as neither Lydia nor Darius had told her about it, 'Dragonborn?' She thought and remembered the children's stories told to her by some old lady about Ysmir.

A/N[Ysmir, Dragon of the North, Talos, and Tiber septim refers to the same person]

Now, it was Darius's turn to be confused, but it didn't last long, as he sighed and instead of answering the old man's question, He looked to the side, where none stood.

Fus!!

As the word escaped his mouth shaking the temple enough to crack the stones, which had withstood the shout of the Dragon of the North.

"By the Eight Divines," Arngeir spoke, witnessing the power of his word.

Darius was happy, that he wasn't spitting blood like last time, thinking of the the first time he had tried this.

Uthgerd and Lydia were astonished at his prowess and proficiency in every field he knew, be it Magic, Hand-to-hand, or even, this mythical power.

Uthgerd, for the first on this journey, had a smile on her face, but, Lydia had much darker thoughts, thinking of how bad it would be for Skyrim if he was to go against them, 'Would they be able to stop him?' She wondered.

Arngeir was so lost in analyzing the power of his words, that he didn't notice that Darius knew the first word of Unrelenting Force, and soon the others came to Hall, not giving him a chance or time to process it.

Argeir introduced them one by one, Master Borri, Master Einarth, and finally, Master Wulfgar.

All three had the same look of astonishment as Arngeir, "Dragonborn, Welcome to High Hrothgar," Arngeir officially welcomed him.

"I'm Arngeir, I speak for the Greybeards, Now tell us why you have come here?" He asked after introducing himself.

Darius contemplated for a moment on why he was here, as it was a harder question than it seemed on the surface.

After much thought, "Strenght," Darius answered with one word, to the Greybeards the answer was typical of men, and the most recent one.

Ulfric.

"Are you sure, this is your final answer. I advise you to think it thoroughly, don't hasten it, as the next words will be detrimental for you to be acknowledged by us," Arngeir advised, even though this man had the inborn gift, it was better testing his resolve now than be late.

Such power in the wrong hands will only bring destruction, 'Even if he already has an Inborn gift, we can change the outcome we were unable to with Ulfric,' Arngeir thought.

Darius put into a more difficult position than before, pondered, 'Argh! Why can't I think straight, why did I come here?' He questioned himself.

'Why was I sent here?' He wondered as he never asked the old man this vital question, Darius sighed at his stupidity.

Flashback:

A man floated in the vast void, slowly waking up from a hangover-like headache, he clutched his head, Argh! He grunted.

The headache calmed slowly, as his head felt lighter than before, lighter than ever.

Noticing his surrounding, his heart began to pound, "What the fuck is this, he looked at his feet, floating, there was no surface to be found, he kicked his feet in an attempt to feel something below his feet, his arms flailed in the void, as of if he was falling.

All he could see was darkness, darkness only lessened by the distant stars.

Getting tired of kicking the air and flailing his arms in the "Air" he stopped himself, His mind began to race with Ideas of what was going on, and when will he wake up from this dream or this nightmare, as it felt like that right now.

He pondered on this question for a while and tried to wake himself up by punching himself but to no avail.

He sighed loudly and, tried to swim in the void, only moving an inch ahead, Soon he fell asleep from boredom, and when he woke up again, his head was much lighter, it felt... empty.

His memories, he couldn't remember things, he tried, only to fail, frustration taking hold of him, he started kicking the air.

But there was no one to tell him, that it didn't matter, he was in the void.

His fear crept behind his head, as he began to lose himself, he would still be the same person if didn't have his memories, of course not, why is he forgetting things, was it because he fell asleep, "No, it can't be."

Because he was forgetting them right now, "Is this what death feels like," He wondered, his arms open, floating in the Nothing ocean.

As he accepted his fate, he closed his eyes, "I thought, I'll meet a ROB, where are you?" He muttered to himself.

As a blinding light tore space-time dimension, near him, he opened his eyes, "What the!" he looked at the being that emerged from the torn space.

"So, you were here," The being said.

"Well, Hello there, I should say,"

A/N[Should I wait on the flashback? because it's only been like 3 days since he got here]
