Davis smiled wryly, thinking that this was expected but still unexpected as he was beginning to think that she didn't dare to confess. He couldn't help but lift his arm before he wiped away her tears. He moved his hand down, held her chin before he lifted up her face, slightly leaning in to know her attitude to his actions.
