Ivan had been itching to call her that whole day. Eager to know what she was up to, how her day was going, how she was spending her vampire hours. He was so curious about her, and yet he wasn't bold enough to lift his phone and place a call to her. He kept on thinking of what his brother had requested of him.

"Just give me Isla Moore and Damon King and I will forgive you" he was asking for the impossible. Ivan desperately wanted nothing more than his brother's forgiveness, but he also cared about Isla deeply. Within a space of weeks, she had become a source of strength for him, a force that kept him strong and smiling.
