The retreat of Tartarus in the face of the Grey Wolves was somewhat of a dent — a dent which was Agatha and Lancelot's responsibility to fix since they had caused it in the first place.

However, if they had not fled, the worst still had a good chance of happening and he couldn't afford to risk that, especially when dealing with the Grey Wolf was not even at the top of their priority list.

Lancelot didn't mind whatever the other members of the dark guild would think. After all, it would not matter once he brought the head of Nyx before Master Kiron as a sign of the mission's success.

So for now, he had to do everything he could and employ every tool in his arsenal to make sure that their goal came to fruition.
