Chapitre 129: My heart hurts

"Beep...beep....beep...."

Soft beeping woke her up. There was a thing shoved down her throat, choking her lightly.

'Where am I? Why... why can't I open my eyes...' Ambai desperately tried to open it. But it felt like she was stuck.

She was stuck in her body.

'Okay... let take it slow...' she softly over her fingertips. They twitched a bit. 'Fingers are moving...'

She then moved her toes around. They too twitched but she did not have much control over the movement.

'I have my legs and hands...but darn it hurts.....'

If she was in the hospital, that would only mean that her body was injected with morphine or any numbing agent. If the pain was there even after all that, would only indicate the severity of her injuries.

'God, that girl hammered me'

Soon her body started to become numb and her barely there consciousness submerged into a fitful sleep.
