After drying myself up, I took back the flowers from the maid. "When did you got back to the country?"

"Last night. With your husband," she replied, "I heard he left again for work. Tell him to spare some time for himself else his ancestors might take him to the afterlife earlier than he wanted to."

"Yeah but I can't tell him that. Who am I to stop him from doing what he likes to do?"

"No, no, no," she wagged her index finger at me, "You'll be his future commander. He'll listen to you."

Listen? I might just add to his many problems.

"I'm glad you're here," I responded instead, "Eat with me later."

"Eat with you later?" her face frowned comically, "You're saying you haven't eaten this late in the morning?"

She went with me upstairs.

"And you're spending your time in the same room with him?"
