This is different from the last two Kaito Kid fanfics, while those two were based on MARVEL/DC TV shows or movies, this one is based on DC comics ONLY.

Écrire un aviseach theft takes about 30 chapters, most of which is just filler nonsense from background characters. you hardly get any MC POV. the story simply hasn't gone anywhere, events that take place over a few days are written about for 30-40 chapters, so you basically end where mc started, just with a few stolen goods that he returns.
3.5/5 Writing is excellent but the story is extremely slowpaced for my taste, alot of MC's theatric while entertaining are cartoonish and have no logical explaination to them. Its also kinda silly that mc can only obtain exp during mission evaluation and every other fame and exp gathered between missions goes to waste. Unless author is planning to write thousand chapter fanfic this story is going nowhere with this level of increase in mc power or story development. Good enough for timepass read but not something to be invested because it'll definitely ends in disappointment.
i like it so far.. tbh i don't really like "system'" but considering the danger in the DC universe, i don't really mind it.. also i like how the author make the system doesnt give MC task, it make me feel the system' just a Character sheet that only show the character's stat, and shop..
AT Can you start moving the plot? its 137 ch. but you just gives us illusion that smthing is happening. Are if you continue in the same way how many ch will be there overall if you ever try finish this ff. Think about. 600?900? AT got few good moments, but number of chapterPace slower than a snail. Not character development in any way. Well mc got 2 "upgrades" but they are Meh. The ratio of the number of chapters to good moments is negligible. plot, development, climax, denouement. This is the standard structure of any arc of any fanfic, and overall structure of any book or perfomance. But the plot and development suck, the climax - there is ...almost none or very very faded and uninteresting, we seem to be happy for the MC that everything worked out for him, but it’s all one big MEH!!!!
This is a fun read. The problem stems from the 'nerfing' of Batman and Robin's intelligence to give the MC a chance. Granted, without that, there would be no story, so... yeah... I think this would work better if it was just a Batman-centric story instead of a Justice League story. That way, the bat family's perspectives and experience could align closer to the the MC's level. If inconsistent Bat Family intelligence and capability bothers you, this may not be for you.
the story isn't that great since it uses the same format Chinese novels use when they turn mobs into the audience to praise or criticize either the MC or other people involved such as the police or the Bat-family and it took 160 plus chapters for the MC to get an upgrade that puts him on the same level as Robin maybe? I guess the author is trying to bring Detective Conan style of Phantom Thief Kid in DC cause he has turned some of DC characters into something else like Gorden into a maniac who only wants Mc's head on a pike. :D but yeah, the pace is slow and MC is weak with a solid plot armor at least til chapter 163 which I have read, maybe it will change soon since his next opponent is probably Batman.
In love with this book and wondering does anyone know if theres more fics like this? Im just very interested in the storyline premise qnd the sheer amazement at how clever the mc is.
Entertaining, but also a failure. The point of the plot is to use his system to rob while also putting on a show to get points. Then use those points to get stronger to survive the hell that is DC. Simple right? 100 chapters in, and 5 robberies later, and what does the MC have? A powerful buzzsaw...superhuman reaction, but it's only for a few seconds...Skin that is 10% more resistant to the elements... I wish I was joking. Entertaining story, but it goes nowhere, and promises otherwise. 1-Star for balance. I'd normally give about 3 and a half stars.
Hey, does someone know the name of the three novel the author is referring too in the description? I'm trying to find the untranslated name of the two dc/marvel novel he mention and the original novel of this dc translation.
Does anyone know the nickname of the author of the original fanfic? //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Different from others who say that the article is lengthy, I like it detailed; the more details, the better. .
should be noted that this is a translated Chinese novel. Chinese novels typically try their best to create more chapters, as they get paid per chapter. this is why the plot/thefts in the book take a long time to conclude. also as one person mentioned, there is filler in the book, but from my view, the filler is not that much, compared to other Chinese novels I have read before.
This is the best chinese fanfiction I have ever read here in Webnovel. Like, I still can't believe it's written from a Chinese writer (no offense intended).
This was a story I picked up a few days ago while looking for something to kill time. I was on break from college for a week and had some free time so I checked out some fan-fictions late one night and got hooked on this one in no time. I have already read up to date on this and am anxiously waiting for the next update. Interestingly enough I had never actually looked much into Detective Conan or Magic Kaito that this story gets some inspiration from but I plan on checking them out after how fun this is.
