There were no words exchanged as both brutes ran at each other. Smaug delivered a strong attack with his powerful right claw, he struck Baldur directly in the face.
His long claws dealing strong damage to Baldur's face, ripping through his flesh he left a long three marked laceration.
Baldur merely smirked returning the gesture right back, he swiped at Smaug's face and quickly pushed his head down with his other hand as he grabbed him by the back of the neck with his mouth.
Smaug made loud sounds of pain, while Baldur made no sound but only brief laughter.
Baldur's clan watched these two fight, there was interest and there was fear. It was easy to watch two fight, but it was hard for some to watch. Those who were scared could very well easily leave as the two of them fought, but their fear kept them from leaving.
Smaug snarled loudly as he used both of his hands to grab hold of Baldur's leg and pulled. This caused Baldur to fall, his mouth had let go of Smaug's neck.
No one wanted to die, only cause death was final.
Smaug smacked Baldur in the face twice with his long claws, each smack was harder than the next. These attacks quickly left cuts on Baldur's face, the blood fell from these wounds but Baldur smiled after each hit.
Smaug glared at Baldur, "You freak!"
To everyone it was freaky that Baldur showed no pain, he would only laugh or smile in such a twisted way after each hit or wound was given to him. It was not normal and that was probably why so many saw Baldur as a monster.
"That all you got?", teased Baldur dealing a attack on Smaug's leg with one of his claws.
Blood was drawn from a long gash appearing on Smaug's leg, the blood poured from the wound which brought pain. Smaug glared sharply as the pain in his leg grew, his eyes went wide as Baldur lunged from where he was and snapped his jaws on the side of Smaug's face.
Everyone had their eyes on them, Smaug's pets had stopped fighting each other for the fish. One of them won the fish, and in this case one would win this fight. It was all about stamina, for one felt pain while the other did not.
Smaug glared as Baldur refused to let go of the side of his face, it reminded him of the fight with Devastate. He was not going to die for he still had to defeat that rex!
Smaug used his hands to grab ahold of Baldur's mouth, he began to pull apart his jaws off of him. Blood poured from his hands due to Baldur's teeth cutting into his skin but he didn't care.
Baldur fought against his hands obviously, this was a battle of strength now. Smaug glared hard as he focused on removing the bear trap of a mouth on him, Baldur on the other hand refused to let go.
Smaug closed his eyes as he roared, his hands were beyond bloody but he pushed onward. His hands tightened their hold on Baldur's mouth, and he pulled at his jaws extra hard.
Baldur's jaws slowly began to move away from Smaug's head, the tyrant had wide eyes for he was being overpowered by Smaug.
Baldur clearly kept fighting back, but Smaug was not about to let him have his way. He would not be defeated by anyone else. Not now, not ever!
Baldur had a hard choice to make, he could let go or keep doing what he was only then to risk his jaws from being pulled apart. The tyrant made his decision quickly.
Smaug felt Baldur lessen his grip, he quickly pulled at Baldur's face and using his strength lifted the tyrant onto his back. Baldur not expecting this looked surprised.
Smaug smirked as he moved Baldur up and over his head, his strength easily threw Baldur down and quite powerfully.
Baldur hit the floor before quickly lifting himself back up, he looked at Smaug with a smile. It was cold in appearance.
"You definitely aren't no weakling.", harshly chuckled Baldur.
Smaug glared at him, the pain he had received he clearly ignored.
It was hard to determine who was stronger, fights like this always happen only cause they want to see who was stronger than the other. With intense fighting came a strange respect.
Smaug felt like that to Devastate and Baldur maybe another one, but the thing was that pissed him off. It meant that he would have to be stronger than two more individuals. His anger couldn't be denied but that just meant that more fightings between them will occur in the future.
More fighting meant more fun.
Smaug scoffed loudly before running at Baldur, though he had injuries he had quite a lot of stamina and that was what he prided himself on. That and his strength.
Baldur smirked running at him as well, he opened his mouth ready to bite him again. Smaug on the other hand, had other ideas.
Baldur blinked when Smaug grabbed his mouth with both of his bloody hands and he pulled him forward. The tyrant glared at Smaug who smirked, this was a teasing kind of smirk. Just that alone infuriated Baldur.
Smaug let go of Baldur's mouth as he used his claws to sink into Baldur's back, he clawed at his back before moving away.
Baldur was not pleased with his attack being blocked, he swung his claws at Smaug dealing a good sized gash upon his chest. Smaug's armor busted and cracked. Though he had repaired it, he was going to have to repair it again.
That was not a problem since there were plenty of blind rexes around.
Baldur's hide was strange, it was tougher than most. It was durable so that was probably why he didn't wear armor. Smaug found Baldur as a strange individual only cause he looked like a rex but made different sounds from a rex. That and he had four claws.
His hide was a white color yet Baldur can blend in well into his environment. There was creatures with mutations, he just never had seen mutations like these.
Smaug dodged Baldur's next biting attack, he was not going to let him grab him again. Smaug hit Baldur's head down with his left hand and as he swiped with his right did he slash upwards toward the tyrants eye.
Blood heavily gushed from the attack, Baldur roared loudly from the attack. Smaug didn't know if that was out of pain or anger. He did that only cause a certain rat did that to him in the fight with Devastate. May as well use it against someone else.
Smaug smirked as he opened his mouth and bit down hard on Baldur's neck. Baldur talked about being a king, well he was going to show him that he was not going to be ruled by no one.
The only one he listens to was himself and no one else.
Baldur was furious, he can tell from how Baldur was throwing his claws out and snarling. He may not feel pain but he clearly could feel rage.
Smaug used his massive size to bring Baldur down, he then used his foot to push Baldur down onto all fours. While he did this did he say, "That's right bow to me, you ain't no king. You're a joke!"
Baldur glared in such a manner that he looked like a demon, his eyes took on a sharper tone of red. Smaug smirked he could care less if he pissed him off or not.
Smaug moved away as Baldur pushed himself up, the tyrant went on a slicing spree with his claws. Smaug tried to dodge them all but they were so crazy and wild he couldn't. Gashes appeared upon his body from the ones he couldn't dodge.
Baldur roared loudly in his rage that he smashed his jaws into Smaug's side, while he delivered such a attack did he use his size against Smaug. The tyrant shifted on him that Smaug was pushed down onto the floor.
Smaug looked faintly surprised by this attack, Baldur clearly was returning a favor.
As Baldur charged at him did Smaug lift his foot, his foot smashed into Baldur's face. A few fangs were knocked out of Baldur's mouth from such a powerful kick.
Smaug lifted himself up with his side heavily bleeding, he glared at Baldur who shook his head and looked right back at Smaug with blood seeping out of his mouth from having a few of his teeth kicked out.
Sawtooth looked greatly surprised, this other spinosaurus was not playing around. Both of them were not. He looked at Baldur, the one who easily killed Crusher. The tyrant was without a doubt a violently strong individual, but as he looked at Smaug he saw the same thing.
Sawtooth looked at the clan, most of them looked shocked. Only cause they were probably thinking the same thing that he was.
Sawtooth looked at Baldur and Smaug, both of them were heavily bloody but they kept getting back up and continuing to fight. This fight from the looks of it will never end, or so he thought.
Baldur glared aggressively at Smaug, the tyrant wanted nothing more than to kill this guy. But he had already wasted so much time fighting him that the other clans probably had gotten word of them.
Not that he was worried about that.
Smaug stood his ground, his frame showed no weakness. Sure, there was blood but that was it. Smaug was going to keep fighting just like how he was going too.
Baldur glanced back at his clan, he brought his clan here to take out clans. But here he was getting sidetracked by a lone brute.
The tyrant had made up his mind that he was going to rule these lands, and that was what he was going to do. He would dispose of this brute later, after he takes over. Baldur turned away, he gave a uninviting smile to Smaug. "I will remember you. Next time we meet I will send you to the afterlife."
Smaug scoffed at him, but that was only cause he doubted that would happen. It wouldn't happen. The tyrant was leaving, which was probably why he stopped. Of course he stopped he wanted to be a king and couldn't keep messing with him. To him he was probably a peasant.
Smaug felt himself growing more angry by that fact, forget respecting him. "You won't kill me, I'll kill you first."
Smaug glared hard at Baldur, he would not let this freak have the pleasure of killing him. Baldur smirked walking into the clan that he had brought there. Smaug watched as Baldur walk away back the way he came.
Smaug watched him leave, he looked at his pets who walked over to him curiously.
The clan of Bloodmaw may have dodged the bullet this time, thanks to Smaug. Not that the clan knew that they had fought.
The night was slowly approaching, everyone in the clan was laying down and resting for the next day to arrive. However, one was awake and he looked out into the distance as blind beasts roar at the sight of the moon.
Bloodmaw was awake, he was thinking about all that Devastate had said. If he truly means the words he had said then perhaps he can give him a chance. Bloodmaw looked at everyone laying down in camp, they were all good beings.
They made up this clan and the last thing that he wanted to see was them dying.
He had seen many die before, it was a gut wrenching feeling to lose everyone. That raid without a doubt tormented his soul, only cause he could of done more for everyone.
Bloodmaw closed his eyes as he sighed, as he opened his eyes did he stare at the moon letting his mind think.
So Smaug may of helped the clan from being noticed by Baldur, so the clan is out of danger for now!
I hope you keep reading to find out what will happen next! ^^
