Chapitre 155: Seer

Abike eyed the old woman skeptically as she sat on the sturdy brown stool, her gaze fixed outside. Why was she here, willing to help them? Was she not from the enemy kingdom? What if this was a trap? What if she came with an enemy and would strike when they least expected?

Abike wanted to approach her, to ask her questions, but she remained rooted at the door, just watching her. After all, she had spent the entire night with the girls searching for Sheby, but all efforts were in vain.

"Dakar, a very lovely place," the woman spoke softly, her eyes closed.

"It is," Abike raised a brow. "Why have you decided to help us? Are you not from the enemy kingdom?"

Oshim laughed, her eyes then turning to the young girl leaning against the door. "Not everyone wants war, my dear." She then shifted her gaze back to the window. "Some of us only want peace, only want the chaos to stop."
