This was an unusual situation. Although stern and cold, Ambryan Hathaway displayed common concern from time to time. They rarely happen. And when they do, it would be in a subtle manner. Not many people would pick up on it.
Glancing at the rearview mirror, Wen hid her grimace.
Maybe it was good that the boss became more open. But given the current circumstances, it might not be the best to let him get closer to his secretary—not after what she just witnessed.
It would have been easy to lookover if the madam had been the one to initiate the orders. No matter how many times Wen watched the recording, it had been Eve who proposed the idea. She stepped out of bounds from her work assignment.
