Chapitre 197: Choke you to death

Xia Mengrui's eyes fluttered open, her vision blurry and her head pounding. She felt disoriented, her body weak and limp as if she were half-dead.

Outside the door, the reporters crowded together, shouting questions as they waited to confront Producer Fu.

The noise of the commotion startled Xia Mengrui. She turned her head to see Fu Heng lying beside her, equally unresponsive.

Panicking, Xia Mengrui nudged him with hard jabs. "Teacher Fu... please get up..."

But Fu Heng remained still, his breath heavy and stale with the stench of alcohol. Frustration and anger surged through Xia Mengrui. She glanced around the room and her eyes landed on the window. If she could manage to jump out, she might be able to escape. 

But before she could make, the door burst open with a deafening crash and the swarm of reporters poured in. 

Xia Mengrui's clothes were torn, so she could do nothing but hurriedly wrap a sheet around herself.
