Chapitre 3: Chapter 3

Today, I ended my shift a bit earlier as I wanted to make a bigger dinner. While I did put away the rest from last dinner away, I can't serve that to a guest. I went shopping, cleaned up my home, then went to pick up Ellie.

"Don't wear your shoes inside. I mopped up." I told Ellie as we headed inside. "A guest will be coming over."

"Who?" She asked.

"Tracey. I guess...you could say that I'm her aunt."

"Woah...I have a cousin?" She asked excitedly.

"I uh...don't know." I said confused. I don't know what Tracey is to her, as we aren't related by blood or any other familial way.

We waited for a an hour, and being 4 minutes early, we heard a knock on the door.

I hurry to the door, make sure that I look presentable, and open it. The person that is in front of my door is Tracey. I'm actually, honestly, very happy to see her. I always loved her, you know? Like a real niece.

"Oh, it's so good to see you again!" I smile happily and hug her. She hugs me back, and runs my back with a bit of awkward smile that I haven't noticed. "Come inside."

"Thanks." She says.

She comes inside, and tell her to make herself home. Though awkward, she does so and seats herself on my sofa. "Wow, you grew so much."

"Thank you, yes." She says, avoiding eye contact.

"Don't be so formal, honey. I guess you haven't changed so much, huh? You're still awkward around me for some reason. Haha, you're so cute."

"Haha..." she chuckles a bit; remembering that she was indeed always awkward around me.

"Haaa..." I pretend to sigh. "I still can't believe Michael is dead...and Trevor too." I say.

She looks away and says with a flat tone, "Yeah." It's obvious she's lying, at least to me.

"Anyway, come and sit at the table, I'll start serving dinner. And oh! I want you to meet someone!" I said with a smile.

I introduced her to Ellie, and she was surprised surprisingly. She asked who was the father, and I told her that it's Trevor. She was VERY surprised to say the least.

We ate together in peace, and to my happiness, Ellie got along with Tracey well, and to my eyes, she got along with Ellie as well, even though they have an age difference of 13. Well, Tracey didn't managed to get a normal childhood. Especially with a bank robber father and a prostitute/stripper mother. They aren't exactly the best role models.

I tried to be a good role model to Tracey and Jimmy while we lived close to each other, as I knew they couldn't have one. They almost always came to me when they encountered trouble in their lives. But that went away after their father 'died'. They moved away.

Before she came here, and while I was cooking and cleaning, I didn't mention, but I was investigating a bit on them on Lifeinvader.

After looking over Tracey's friends lists, I found out that she's hanging out with porno guys, and to my disappointment, she was doing porn too.

Jimmy, became a wanna be gangster, doing drugs, selling drugs, and just playing video games all day.

Needless to say, my disappointment was over the roof. So I decided that when we're done with dinner, and Ellie goes to do her homework, I'm gonna talk some sense into Tracey.

"Can we talk for a minute?" I asked her once Ellie left to her room.

She looked a bit hesitant but nodded and followed me to the living room. "On Lifeinvader, I noticed that you're involved in...porn and stuff like that."

Tracey eyes widen for a minute before acting life she's dumb and doesn't know what I'm talking about.

"I'm disappointed in you, honey." I tell her straight up.

She looks surprised, but then she frowns deeply. "Who are you tell me what's bad for me?"

I look a bit offended, she's not exactly wrong, but I've been more of a mother to her for 13 than Amanda has ever been. And that's what I told her.

"I've been more of a mother to you tha Amanda have ever been. Or did you forget who taught you to ride a bike or how to...shave your legs? Or help you with all your homeworks?"

"Don't talk about mom that way!" She said offended.

"Look..." I calmed down. "I...just don't want you to go down the same path as Amanda, and I don't mean any offense. You do realize that once something is on the internet, can't be taken down, right?" I ask her seriously.

And to my astonishment, her face goes pale....No fucking way. "You...did know that....right?"

She doesn't answer, and just looks down on the ground, tears swelling in her eyes. "Wait...you're telling me that...I'll forever will be on the internet that way...?"

I can't help but facepalm, and shake my head. "That's what I was worried about. Your dad and mom don't even care about you enough to know what you're doing on the internet." I said, and hugged her.

After a while, she suddenly tenses up. "What? Dad...what?"

"Honey...I know that you're dad is alive. He's dumb if he thinks people who care enough, won't be able to find out about all of you." I say as I rub her back, and she hugs me back.

"Tracey, honey. Let me tell you..." I say as I release her from my hug, and grab her shoulders. "You need to stop doing this...porn thing. Okay?"

The dumb girl sniffs a little, and nods her head. "I'm here now, and if anything is wrong, you can find me any time. I'll give you my number, and you can call me as well. Hell, I'll give you a copy of my door key, and you can come over."

She nods again.
