A street wise man walks with swagger down bustling city street.
The master of his own little play, where he gets to act the most important part, The King.
The shepherd of his own little flock of witless idiots, all fighting for the slim chance of glory, and that's just the way he likes it. The way nature intended.
All's well in this little utopia of sin and debauchery.
Well that is until.
Bang!
A seemingly random gunshot cuts the air, silencing a once audacious city. hitting the smug little man clean in the chest, taking the Kick from his feet.
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
Two more follow, knocking man the flat. His dapper white attire stained the color of bright crimson. His death all but certain to anybody.
At least it would be if it didn't happen every other God Damn week.
By now it might as well be an act, one he's played out far too many times. He was of the mind that this was just another Monday, that he'd laugh it off like all the other times.
But it seems the world did too find it a little over done.
Bang!
A fourth and final shot to the head, marking the end to man out of luck, a man out of time.
