Chapitre 168: Remaining members of the shield

Jacquelyn kept turning around as they walked farther away from the cave. She was really curious about the woman she had met earlier. Just a glimpse of her face, and Jacquelyn knew she was beautiful, but because she was scared of her eyes, she couldn't keep staring. This was the first person she had seen Kael have a serious conversation with. There was no taunting or hateful speech, unlike the first time she met Valerie. And even the way the woman carried herself, Jacquelyn loved it too.

"She can still see you," Kael informed, noticing how the girl kept turning her neck.

Jacquelyn pressed her lips tightly, "She can? Who is she?" She finally asked, unable to keep her curiosity.

"A witch...a vesper witch, also called the evening stars," Kael replied with a soft voice.
