Chapitre 248: Teach A Lesson

Alex's heart was about to burst.. The small distance from her chamber to his room felt like miles.

But when he reached his chamber, it was too silent. There was nothing looking wrong.

"Where is Oliver?" he asked a maid who was walking by.

"Master, sir Oliver? He had left with you!" the brows of the girl furrowed.

She was sure she had seen them leaving together.

"Where is Ben?" he asked again in a louder voice this time.

Ben who was always around the entrance in the absence of his master came running when he heard Alex shouting,

"My lord!" 

"Where is Oliver?"

"Master, the young man did not return. If he comes, will I inform you that you are waiting for him?" he asked in a confused voice as he felt that his master was behaving strange.

Alex did not wait for him. He turned and ran but after running a bit, he stopped.
