Lia doesn't know why she agreed to go on that damn trip with Chase.

For all she knew, the man could still turn out to be a serial killer in plain disguise. She doesn't know him that well. They have been roommates for what? Six or seven months?

And yet, when he took a week off work and asked her if she wanted to stay with him at his friend's cabin, up in the mountains, she agreed.
