Chapitre 210: A Widow Husband

The throne hall fell into a heavy silence as Prince Agost's tears fell freely, his shoulders shaking with apparent grief. His fingers trembled as they traced the delicate features of Alora's face, his voice breaking with each word. 

"My beloved..." His words echoed through the hall, raw with emotion. "We were supposed to exchange our vows before the sacred altar next week…" 

Freya's brows furrowed hearing Agost, her breathing turned ragged. How she wished she could just wrap her fingers around Agost's neck and strangle him with her bare hands. 

"Princess Freya!" Agost's restrained voice stressed her name in a low voice to remind her to stay still.

However, Agost just assumed everyone was just angry at his actions and grieving. He snickered in his mind. His fingers brushed further down her face. He was checking Alora's pulse by gliding his fingers on her deathly cold neck. He found none, a reassurance to continue his act.
