Chapitre 25: The Dark Times Sea
"Alice, I've liked you since we were in college," Felix explained.
Alice frowned at that as if she couldn't believe Felix's words.
"Alice, I ask you one more time, do you want to be my girlfriend?" Felix grabbed Alice's hand.
Alice suddenly felt awkward hearing this.
"Felix, please stop messing around!" she said.
"Alice, I'm not playing, I love you!" Felix reassured Alice.
Alice was silent for a moment with a confused feeling.
She didn't know what to say? It's too early for her. Even though Felix had liked her from the start, why did he just say it now?
When Alice wanted to be alone, and when Alice wasn't ready to open her heart to another man.
Alice still looked down contemplating, she didn't want to accept Felix, but she also didn't want to hurt Felix for her refusal.
Felix realized that only that he had already said it now.
And now is not the right time.
"Alice, if you don't want to accept me ... it's okay, I won't force it. Besides, love really can't be forced," Felix said.
"Felix, sorry, I don't want to accept you, because . . . I'm not ready to be in a relationship again," Alice said.
Felix lowered his head, previously he had prepared himself to accept this fact. Because Alice would refuse it.
Already knew he would be rejected but Felix still wanted to express his feelings to Alice. Because he couldn't stand this feeling anymore.
Alice noticed Felix's sadness. The woman rubbed Felix's shoulder.
"Felix, are you... angry huh?" asked Alice in a low, slightly trembling voice.
"No!" Felix answered firmly, the man looked up again, and he acted as nothing had happened.
He was trying to get things back to normal. Felix didn't want to create an uncomfortable atmosphere because of this declaration of love.
"Alice, it's okay if you don't accept me, but please don't walk away from me! Let's just pretend I never said anything to you," said Felix.
"Felix, once again I'm sorry because I can't accept your feelings. But I still love you as a friend," concluded Alice. Then she hugged Felix tightly.
"Even so, please don't leave me, I don't have friends like you anymore in this world," said Alice.
Felix nodded his head.
'If you accept my love, and want to be my wife. I will never leave you, Alice. Even I will be a good life partner,' Felix said in his heart.
Even though he had been rejected by Alice, Felix didn't give up. He was sure that one day Alice would open her heart and accept his feelings back.
Now, Alice just needs to live alone. She is setting her heart until she is ready to accept a new partner.
"Okay, let's eat again?" Felix said.
"Yes!" Alice immediately removed her hug from Felix's body.
***From the window of her house, Sea peeked at the togetherness of Alice and Felix.
She didn't seem to like the closeness of Alice and Felix.
"The longer I dislike that man! He dared to be close to Alice! Alice is mine! And will become my new family member," Sea muttered with an annoyed face and pouting lips.
After that, she closed the window curtain again.

Suddenly someone turned off the light switch. A shadow of a small child running.
"Damn!" shouted Sea.
Then she walked briskly looking for a glimpse of the shadow.
"Clara! Please don't play games, honey! Mommy doesn't like this prank of yours?" Sea pressed the light switch again.
And soon the room was bright again
Sea sits on the sofa looking at the figure.
"Edward? How are you?" said Sea who spoke to the photo of her late husband.
Sea rubbed the photo and did not realize the two tears flowed freely.
Honestly, she missed her husband. But there is hatred in her heart.
After being satisfied crying over her husband's photo, Sea slammed the figure.
Dunno how many times she slams the thing, until it shatters, and after that, she will replace it with a new photo frame. This incident happened over and over again.
She always misses her husband. But after the longing appears, the hatred will also appear.
She still remembers how her husband treated her.
A very sad dark event strikes again at the trough of Sea's heart.
When she finds Edward her husband is making out with another girl in their house.
At that time, Sea had just returned from her parents' house.
Sea was staying for a few days there. She purposely went home without informing Edward first. She did this because she wanted to surprise her husband. In both hands, the girl was carrying several paper bags, which contained souvenirs from her parents' village.
Moreover, Edward also admitted to her that at that time, he was sick.
But when Sea got home, he found her husband making out on the bed with another girl.
And the girl is one of Edward's office employees. But she didn't know her name, she'd only look at the girl briefly and she wasn't sure herself either.
"Edward! What are you doing!?" shouted Sea.
The angry Sea immediately took violence against Edward and the woman.
Sea slapped Edward's face hard.

"Hey, how dare you slap, Edward!" shouted the girl who was with Edward.
And Sea smiled sinisterly at the girl.
"You guys, these aren't humans! You've had the heart to toy with me! Especially you, Edward!" shouted Sea, pointing hatefully at Edward.
The girl did not seem to accept her lover being slapped by Sea until, in the end, she tried to slap Sea to take revenge. But Sea instead pushed the woman's body to the floor and her head hit the end of the cupboard which happened to have an urn above it.
After the closet was shaken, the jar above it fell and fell on the girl's head.
Instantly this girl died on the spot. This left Edward in shock, and he was speechless.
But strangely, Sea didn't feel scared at all, and Sea wasn't the weak woman she seemed.
Sea pulled Edward's hand forcefully.
"Edward! Come on tell me? What am I lacking!?" shouted Sea threateningly.
"Sea, please forgive me, and let's talk about this properly," said Edward trying to calm Sea.
But Sea didn't care, she grabbed a knife in her drawer, then plunged the knife into Edward's body.
