[ 7 new Peons has joined your clan]
With 7 more peons, adding the 3 I had at the start, now I have 10 peons in total. I immediately ordered them to gather woods in the forest, of course I'm tagging along as well to protect them.
Today I realized that I have made a big mistake. I should have build the war mill first because I can only produce tools and weapon with it. And because of my negligence, I failed to notice it when I make my plan.
So now I don't have any choice but to let my peons get some woods by gathering branches or fallen woods. We couldn't cut down trees without any axes so we don't have many choices left. Actually I could take down a tree by force using my hammer, but it was not efficient and since the peons still need axes to cut those trees into smaller pieces, Those fallen trees cannot be processed right away.
Although the day started with a bad news, thankfully there's also a good news to make my day fell better. I can summon 1 hero without using any resources!
I already checked how much resources does the barrack required to train 1 grunt or troll headhunter and the cost is actually a burden for my purse at this moment so the barrack is useless right now. Until I build those resources buildings and get more incomes, the barrack will be left alone.
Going back to the main topic, now I already stand in front of the Altar of Heroes. When I checked it's description, there are 4 displayed heroes that I could summon.
[Altar of Heroes]
- Grommash Hellscream
Description: A legendary chieftain of the Warsong clan and the greatest liutenant to the Warchief of the horde, Thrall.
- Rokkhan Darkspear
Description: Chieftain of the Darkspear tribe and a champion of the Troll race.
- Rexxar, the Beastmaster
Description: Master of beasts, a half breed of orc and ogre, and a champion of the horde.
- Cairne Bloodhoof
Description: The High Chieftain of the united tribes of the Tauren race.
When I look at the names listen by the Altar of Heroes, I couldn't help but feel a little bit nostalgic. I had experience the life of ' Thrall, warchief of the horde' in my dreams so it was natural for me to know this names very well.
Though if I have to say who I am right now, I would say that I am a new Thrall. Seeing Thrall past was more like seeing my own past life memories without any attached feelings.
In a way, I could say that this is my third life with my first life being a normal human in the modern world, and my second one being as the warchief of the horde.
Anyway, after I thought about which hero that I need right now, I decided to summon Cairne. Cairne was a very wise tauren. With his long life, he had experience many things that made him a good choice for me considering my current situation. Even though I had The previous Thrall memories, it doesn't mean I became him. I need someone that can remind me or guide me so that I won't make any mistakes again.
[Do you want to summon 'Cairne Bloodhoof' ? Please confirm]
'Yes.'
The altar of heroes then started to glow brightly. Small particles of light start to appear and gathered into one till it becoming a big vortex. Not long after the vortex was shaped, I can see an old tauren figure holding a huge spear walking out from the vortex and stood tall on top of the altar.
For a few minutes, the both of us didn't spoke a single word. We only stare at each other eyes without moving a muscle. In the end I couldn't bare it any longer and break the silence myself.
"It's been a long time, old friend." (Thrall)
"Yes it has. So what is your purpose for calling this old bones from the death once again? It can't be because you missed me so much right, old friend? *chuckle*" (Cairne)
"As much as I want to joke with you, our circumstances doesn't allowed me to do so at this moment. I need your help once again, Cairne."(Thrall)
Realizing at how serious I am right now made him grimace a little bit.
"What do you mean, Warchief? Please elaborate."(Cairne)
"Well... in short, our race are facing extinction right now. Our race situation is at the very bottom right now."(Thrall)
Though it was not the truth, I also didn't lie as right now there's only 11 orc exist in this world including me, and 1 tauren if I count the new summoned Cairne.
Cairne got bewildered by my statement and couldn't help himself to ask for more information to me.
So, in short, I gave him an explanation that our race had already extinct in this world and somehow my soul got summoned by an unknown god. That God then gave me a task to make my own clan and I interpreted his message to me as a chance for me to revive our race once again.
After I'm done explaining about my 'circumstance', Cairne believed me and promised me to give his all to help me revive our race.
Before I forgot, the system gave me two new buildings blueprints after I summoned Cairne.
[Build]
- Tauren Hut
Description: Produce 1 Tauren Worker/3 days, Max production: 2
Requirements: 50 Wood, 50 Iron.
- Tauren Combat Pit
Description: Train Tauren Axe High Warrior
Requirements: 350 Woods, 200 Iron, 200 Gold.
'Hmm... Does that mean every hero has their own specialized buildings? Well, that's another way to get more building blueprints in the future' (Thrall)
When I checked the altar of heroes again, I was bewildered by how expensive it was to summon a hero. It cost 10.000 Food, 5.000 Gold, and 1 Orb of Revival to summon 1 hero.
I don't have any idea what orb of revival is nor where to aquire it so I won't be summoning any new hero in the near future.
Since my business is done here, I took Cairne with me to guard my peons while they gather some woods. After working for the whole day, my peons were able to gather 500 woods. As for how we could get this much, it was because of Cairne help.
Although it was a shameful thing to do, I asked Cairned to cut some trees with his giant spear that has big axe attached bellow of his spear head.
I already started the War Mill construction when we gathered 300 woods and it only took 2 hours to build so now the building has already built.
[War Mill]
Assigned workers : 1/5
Item Production List : Iron Sword (5 Iron), Iron Spear (5 Iron), Iron axe (5 Iron) Iron Pickaxe (5 Iron), Round Iron Shield (5 Iron), etc.
I assigned 1 peon to work at the war mill and put an order for 10 axes and 10 rakes costing me 100 Iron in total. I also used the remaining 200 woods I just got today to build an Iron mine and a lumbermill.
The next day I got 7 additional peons again and immediately put them in use. I ordered 10 peons to cut down trees for woods using the brand new iron axes and the rest 6 peons to work at the iron mine.
That day I managed to get over than 1.000 woods so I build 16 more orc huts costing me 800 woods and use the rest to build the farm and gold mine.
I start to get a hang on how to manage my base and 5 days passed full of building my base in peace.in those 5 short days, my base has changed a lot.
7 peons joined my clan at the second day and 23 peons joined at the third day. I built 20 more orc huts and another iron mine at the third day which increase my peons and iron production rate.
At the fourth day, I got 43 more peons in my clan. I built 40 more orc huts as well 2 more iron mines and assigned 40 peons to work at the iron mines while making the rest to gather more woods. Because of that, I was able to get more than 2.000 woods and 400 iron that day.
Although I want to start making my own army, Cairne didn't agree and advice me to focus on getting more resources right now and only start to create the army when the base had enough resources to train them without putting any burden for the daily consumption.
I heed the words of my wise advisor and put my focus on getting more work force and resources. That decision brought me 83 more peons at the fifth day. Realizing that my clan has grown a lot, I built 3 more farms to get by with the daily food consumption and 2 more iron mines to increase my base iron production rate. I also built 50 more orc huts because I have enough woods to do so and there was no better option than increasing my workers right now. Since the total numbers of my peons had increased to a spectacular number of 159 workers, I need more iron to keep making more tools for my peons to work efficiently.
