Hence, Diana smiled and ruffled his hair, ''Of course. I will protect you. I will always be there for you,'' she said the words without giving it much thought.

He would make sure that she was always there with him. Since she gave her consent, he would not be the bad guy here if he kept her with him even when she tried to leave. 

After all, people should be responsible for their words. He would hold her responsible for all her actions and words. 

While he was lost in his thoughts, Diana spoke up, ''Dad used to say that having a great business partner is a blessing. Coming to think of it, he has a point."
