"Father, are you telling me Apollonia is missing? That can't be right. My people found word she was still traveling with the American Ballet." 

"She's been missing going on a month now. I thought you knew." 

"No. I've been too busy hunting for Beau's killer. I haven't even had time to speak to Don Ricci." 

"It happened. Not long after you told me Claudia had run off, and she was last spotted here in Italy. Ricci said he wasn't able to reach either of them."

"Is it true Sal banished Claudia from his compound?" 

"That's what I hear. I asked him, but he refuses to talk about it. He just called to ask about Apollonia and if we'd seen her. The girl didn't show up for her last ballet performance and their director called looking for her. He's worried sick it's happening again. This is why he didn't want his children to go away from him. Being the Godfather, they are always a target." 

"My God. What is going on?" Roman muttered to himself.
