Synopsis
Briar had always harbored a crush in her heart. However, with her status as the official nanny of the Meyer family, she knew her chances were close to zero. After all, there were many other eligible women out there and it was not in her place to cross this line.
All it took was one crucial call from home and she found herself signing a contract she never dreamed was possible.
The man she had pinned after for years, Logan Meyer, needed a trophy wife, an accessory to hang on his arm, and a mother to his three kids. And as the nanny his children were used to seeing, Briar happened to fit the bill.
She needed the money to save a relative. But more than that, this was an opportunity for her to reach the forbidden fruit she could only see but not touch for years.
However, when the secrets of her past, which she wished to have forgotten and had locked in Pandora’s Box over twelve years ago, threaten to come out. The kind that would shatter the image she had painstakingly forged, thwart everything that she had worked hard for all these years and send her to prison for the rest of her life, forcing her to part with the man she dearly loves.
To stop her adversaries from destroying everything that she had dreamt of since she was a child, Briar would be forced to make choices. Choices that would change her life forever.
Even if it means shedding all pretenses and revealing her true self.

Écrire un avisDrama, drama and drama. There's drama all over and i love it. I honestly don't read romance novels, but i love drama. As long as this book has such good drama, i'm all yours^^.
Wholesome character development and plot. I'm not into romance much, but this is a master piece and I had to read all the chapters...I NEED MORE.
Drama is all that I look for, and so far, am pretty much pleased. Looking forward to opening the pandora box. Very curious about what Briar is hiding. Keep up the good work

Very interesting! As an African myself I was impressed by the little cultural sneakins like the waistband and the rest. The novel pacing is amazing and every chapter has something interesting to offer, the grammar is nice, the characters are developing pretty well and I think that's good. I appreciate the author's hardwork, recommended to people who love contract marraige genres, you'll love it!
So far so great! Briar's story is simply exhilarating. Author has a knack for creating gripping moments. The first three chapters already get sympathising with Briar and looking forward to her relationship with the tycoon Logan! Brilliant! Onward
This is an awesome book! There's nothing more beautiful than receiving a blessing at the right time when you need it the most! I hope this contract marriage will turn out well with Briar living with the children as a stepmother. I'm addicted to the book already. A must-read!😘
Just added this book to my library ☺️! This book is phenomenal 🤭! I like how the plot is going! I also like how a bit of the African culture added in it. Kudos, Author 🙂!
I like the story so far. The characters are well portrayed in the story, and the storyline keeps you at the edge of your seats. I praise the author for having good writing skills. However, I would like to advise the author to be careful of how you use exclamation marks when a character speaks. For example, when a character says, "I love it!", you can't say that they said those words 'calmly'. When there is an exclamation mark, it's to show that someone is exclaiming, crying or shouting words. I noticed that when Logan speaks. But that's a minor issue. Overall, the story is good and I would recommend it to others. Keep it up, author 😉
