Hamilton smiled ear to ear at Caspian before inviting himself inside Caspian’s study and taking a seat on the sofa.

“What is it?” Caspian asked with a voice that was laced with a usual hint of rudeness whenever he talked with Hamilton.

Hamilton was already used to being treated with discourtesy. So, without giving any attention to the tone of Caspian’s voice, he got straight down to business.

“I don’t know how much of what I said yesterday went inside your head. But as I said, the offer still stands. I will help you in any way I can. Do you have any task in mind for me?”

Caspian’s irritation instantly vanished when he heard that.

He thought for a while and then without any hesitation, he requested Hamilton, “You are more in touch with the outer world than any of us in this Kingdom. You were talking about technologies and discoveries. So, can you find out if there are any of those things that can help Anastasia?”
