My heart feels as though it might shatter! The way she gazes, so utterly adorable. The sound of her voice is like music to my ears. She is truly a blessing, radiating elegance in her unique manner.
Oh, how I wish to bask in her presence for all eternity!
Danish snapped his fingers, jolting me back to reality.
"Hey man! What are you zoning out about? Who are you staring at?" he asked with a hint of curiosity.
I felt a wave of panic wash over me as I turned to face Danish. "Uh, umm," I stammered.
"I was just captivated by the beauty of nature outside," I said, gesturing toward the window.
"It's so serene out there; I could see myself living my entire life in that peaceful setting."
Danish responded with a hint of disbelief, saying, "Oh come on, it can't possibly have anything to do with the beautiful scenery, right? So, what is it? I'm curious!" He seemed to challenge the situation.
"Is it that girl Drishti who's the class representative of our class? You seem to be staring at her all the time, don't you?"
"What? Drishti? No way! Don't even think that about me, man! Why on earth would I be looking at her?" Shaurya exclaimed, clearly flustered.
Danish grinned, his voice laced with amusement. "Dude, you're not exactly being subtle. Oh, I've noticed quite a few of you trying to sneak a peek at her!Why don't you just get up and introduce yourself? She's practically sitting next to you. Who knows, maybe she's even waiting for you to make the first move."
Shaurya felt his cheeks heat up as he stole a quick look at Drishti, his voice trembling slightly as he spoke. "Stop accusing me, you idiot! That's not true at all; I'm just not interested in that kind of stuff!" His words came out with a mix of irritation and bashfulness.
Danish chuckled, clearly amused by Shaurya's flustered reaction. "Alright, alright, I see how it is. No need to get all worked up, I was just teasing!" he said, relishing the sight of Shaurya's growing frustration and embarrasment.
Following that lengthy stream of thoughts, I made an effort to clear my mind and redirect my attention towards my studies.
However, as time passed, I found it increasingly difficult to concentrate, overwhelmed by emotions that I struggled to articulate.
I sighed deeply, attempting to find some peace and reflect on the feelings swirling within me.
This was an entirely new experience for me, one that stirred emotions I had never encountered before. I found myself inexplicably drawn to her, and I couldn't quite grasp why I felt such a strong attraction.
It left me questioning my own feelings. My heart was reaching its limit! In a moment of frustration, I clutched my head tightly, overwhelmed by the confusion of emotions I couldn't articulate or comprehend.
I shut my eyes, attempting to find some inner peace. Everything about her captivated me-the way she looked, the way she spoke, and her infectious laughter. It was impossible for me to resist the pull I felt towards her.
I inhaled deeply, letting out a soft sigh. What on earth has happened to me? I pondered. As I attempted to steal a glance at Drishti once again, my breath caught in my throat, captivated by the stunning scenery around us.
The moment I tried to turn my gaze over her,I found her already looking straight into my eyes...
"Her eyes locked onto mine. And i ws done for. Drowning in their depths, I knew I was in trouble -thr good kind."
For a brief moment, I was completely mesmerized, lost in the intensity of the experience. Her warm, brown eyes held a deep concern that seemed to pierce right through me. I found myself momentarily at a loss, unsure of how to react or what to say as the seconds ticked by.
It wasn't until I regained my composure that I realized how flustered I had become. My cheeks burned with embarrassment as I straightened up, quickly averting my gaze in an attempt to convince myself that I hadn't been staring at her at all.
Why does this always happen to me? It's so incredibly uncomfortable. What must she think of me? A total creep? Oh, please, let her not have noticed.
I silently pleaded to the universe, hoping that she hadn't caught me sneaking glances at her.
I prayed that she would simply brush it off, as if our eyes meeting was just a chance occurrence, and that it wouldn't bother her at all.
Out of the blue, she addressed me, asking, "Are you alright, Shaurya?"
At that moment, I felt like I had been hit with a wave of stillness; I was utterly taken aback by her question. My gaze widened in surprise as I noticed the genuine concern reflecting in her eyes.
She continued, "Just a moment ago, you appeared so tense, and it worried me. Is everything alright?"
I found myself at a loss for words, my mind racing with a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, making it difficult to respond coherently.
"Uh- yeah... I mean, no... I mean..."
She giggled and playfully rolled her eyes. "Oh Shaurya, you're so adorable when you're flustered!"
My face grew hot, and I looked away, trying to hide my blush. "Uhh... umm"
Oh dear!
Well, uhh...umm~
She echoed my words just to poke fun at me.
With a mischievous tone, she said, "So, Mr. Uhh Umm~ could you possibly get your mouth moving and give me an answer to my question?"
Oh my goodness! What a great dilemma im in right now! Honestly, if this conversation drags on for even another minute, I might just pass out right here on the spot!
I took a moment to gather my thoughts and, with a shaky voice, I admitted, "You know, I've been feeling really anxious about the geography test we have tomorrow. I haven't had the chance to study as much as I should have, and that's what's been weighing on my mind. So yeah..."
As I spoke, I could feel the tension in the air shift, and for the first time, I realized that perhaps, just perhaps, I wasn't alone in this whirlwind of emotions.
Drishti's expression softened, she leaned in slightly, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "Well, how about we study together? I could help you out. I'm pretty good at geography, you know."
My heart skipped a beat as Drishti's words hung in the air, tantalizing me with the promise of proximity. I felt my face heat up, my mind racing with the implications of studying together. Alone. With her.
I stuttered, "I-I mean, I don't want to bother you... You're probably busy..."
Drishti's smile faltered for a moment, and I worried I'd offended her. But then, her eyes sparkled with amusement. "Bother me? Shaurya, I offered, didn't I?"
I nodded, still trying to process the situation. "Y-yes, you did..."
My voice trailed off as I struggled to form coherent thoughts. Studying together? Just the two of us? It sounded like a dream come true, but also a recipe for disaster. What if I embarrassed myself in front of her? What if I couldn't concentrate?
My heart soared at the suggestion, but a flicker of doubt crept in. "Are you sure? I wouldn't want to take up your time..."
"Please," she said, rolling her eyes playfully. "I'd much rather help you than listen to Danish ramble on about his latest video game obsession."
I chuckled, feeling a wave of relief wash over me. "umm i think..."
Drishti's gentle voice cut through my reverie. "Hey, it's okay. I promise I won't bite. Unless you're hiding snacks from me, that is."
I forced a laugh, feeling a bit more at ease. "N-no snacks, I swear."
She grinned, and I felt my heart fluttered. So!! Since we both have the geography test tomorrow, Want to study together in the library during lunch?
My heart skipped a beat. Alone with her in the library? I felt my face heat up, but I tried to play it cool. "Uh, yeah... sure... I mean, that sounds great."
Drishti smiled, her eyes sparkling. "Awesome! I'll meet you there at lunchtime. We can quiz each other and make sure we're both ready for the test."
I nodded, still trying to process the situation.
"Umm, alright..." I trailed off, trying to process what had just happened.
Drishti smiled at me, her eyes sparkling with amusement, before turning back to her work.
It wasn't until she was out of sight that I snapped back to reality, my heart sinking as I realized what I had just agreed to. Studying alone with Drishti? I was in trouble.
With a shaky hand, I approached my friend Danish, who was engrossed in a conversation with a group of girls. "Hey, bro! Bro!!" I said, trying to get his attention.
When he didn't respond, I resorted to more drastic measures, slapping him on the back of the head.
"Ouch! What the...? Are you high on something, Shaurya?" Danish asked, rubbing his sore head.
Danish's gaze met mine, and his eyebrows shot up in concern as he read the panic etched across my face like an open book.
Danish raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Shaurya's distress. "What's wrong, man? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Shaurya ran a hand through his hair, his eyes darting around the room as if searching for an escape route. "I'm in trouble, Danish. Big trouble."
Danish's expression turned serious. "What kind of trouble?"
Shaurya hesitated, his voice barely above a whisper. "I agreed to study with Drishti... alone... in the library."
Danish's eyes widened in surprise, and he let out a low whistle. "Dude, you're playing with fire. What were you thinking?"
Shaurya shook his head, feeling a sense of dread wash over him. "I don't know, man. I just wasn't thinking. And now I'm stuck. What if I say something stupid or trip over my own feet?"
Danish chuckled and clapped Shaurya on the back. "Relax, Shaurya. It's just studying. You'll be fine. Just be yourself, and try to focus on the books."
Shaurya snorted. "Easy for you to say. You're always so smooth with girls. I'm just a nervous wreck."
Danish's expression turned serious, his voice filled with sincerity. "Listen, Shaurya. I know you're nervous, but you can't let that hold you back. Just be respectful, listen to what she has to say, and try to have a conversation. And if all else fails, just pretend you're me."
Shaurya rolled his eyes, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, right. Because that's exactly what I need - to be more like you."
Danish grinned. "Hey, it worked for me, didn't it? Now go out there and crush it... or at least don't embarrass yourself too much."
I crossed my fingers, hoping that the universe would grant me a temporary dose of coolness, just so I wouldn't totally embarrass myself in front of Drishti - and maybe, just maybe, she'd see the real me, the one I only revealed in my daydreams!!
