Chapitre 149: Briefing

On the next day, Yang Ran woke up early and put on her male disguise.

When she came out of the room, the house was filled with the smell of toast. Her housemate, Li Shen was in the kitchen, preparing some breakfast.

Li Shen heard her open the door and looked up from his frying pan. He saw Yang Ran come out and smiled. "Xiao Ran, good morning. I'm making some fried eggs. Do you want some?"

Yang Ran greeted him before nodding. "Sure." She walked over to the counter to check the hot water in the kettle. Then, she took out the instant coffee packet from the counter and make herself a mug of coffee.

The scent of coffee filled the air and suddenly, Yang Ran felt more awake.

"When did you get back last night?" Li Shen asked as he slid the fried egg into a plate before giving it to her. "You weren't home yet when I headed to bed."

Yang Ran took a sip from her coffee. "Mmm... Just before midnight. I was meeting a few friends before I come back."
