Chapitre 10: EXTRA. Daily life of a baby heiress
You might be thinking an heiress will be pampered or either being educated From an early age according to all the novels and telenovelas. Not here. I'm just growing up as a normal baby.
My day starts whenever I wake up. The nanny bathes me, grooms me, feeds me and then I'm free the whole day to roam all around under watchful eyes of any adult that being nanny or uncle John most of the time. In the evening playing with Ronny after school and having dinner with him and our parents if they are home. Watching TV in the basement where I am not allowed to go alone at present due to my young age.
It's very stressful to play with toys at my mental age so i mostly just do some colouring books to deal with stress. And i might have painted on my room walls a bit. hehe...
collecting flowers that the gardener worked so hard to maintain and making bouquets or crowns for people around me. I mean it gets frustrating to always sit around and do the same things. I also sneak into the kitchen to learn simple cooking skills away from dangerous hazards under the guidance of our chef Robert who loves me for all the compliments I give to his food. His baking skills are no joke. I guess he was definitely scouted for our cafes but ended up at our home.
And because i complain about getting bored my nanny Nancy started teaching me writing when I was 3 and half. it's difficult to hold a pen or pencil with these small hands and so it covered up my previous knowledge of these things. Yeah it's English. It might not have been my first language in my previous world but it's the third language we learnt at school so I am alright in it. we have a state language and national language as the first and second languages in my school in my previous world. Yeah we have many languages, you can easily guess which country I'm from.
After 6 months of practice by age 4 i was able to write though my handwriting was anything but neat. But they say I am a genius. Man it's hard to act like a baby but i sometimes feel like I am regressing in my actions. i sometimes throw tantrums unknowingly. i miss my binge watching anime but now I watch cartoons for little kids and cry if they put me to bed early.
What in the world am i becoming???
And learning about the world building in this novel was the toughest thing so far. I have to observe the babies on tv and imitate them to ask my doubts. I can't directly bring up what this planet is called? or what are the continent names? now, can I?? I think I should wait till I am in school to find more about geography. I was already poor in history and civics now I have to learn this extra knowledge of the new world. i don't even know if my little brain has that much space to store the new info. And I'm only allowed to watch kids channels as the remaining channels are under parent lock. All those novels allow kids to have their own phones why does this author have to make a book so realistic and a cliche love Story at the same time. isn't she playing a game with me. So far i only know the names of places used in the book and they are not something I'm aware of in my previous world.
